    Which mod are from?

Those lights are from the Minecraft 1.5 version of Modular Power Suits. It's something you can put on your tool arm, to throw lights around at the cost of just energy. Breaking them doesn't drop anything.

The line that is having an issue refers to the buttons and the program it refers to is named right.

    os.loadAPI("button")
    m = peripheral.wrap("top")
    rednet.open("left")
    m.clear()

    function fillTable()
    button.setTable("Sheep",sheer,10,25,3,6)
    button.setTable("Place Mobs",place,10,25,8,11)
    button.setTable("Remove Mobs",remove,10,25,13,16)
    button.screen()
    end

Er, no, it isn't. You're having some confusion between "sheer" (meaning very steep or very thin -- "sheer cliff") and "shear" (meaning to slice or split across something -- "shear that sheep"). Double check your spelling in the code and in your filenames to make sure they match.

Thanks, got the wireless issue fixed, I thought I had put the modem on after I moved the computer but forgot to reattach it.

With the mobcontrol button program though i get

    File not found
mobcontrol :7: attempt to index ? (a nil value)
So what is the program doing in line 7? What file is it looking for? Did you name the files the same as Dire did? If not, you can change it.

One other question, is the wireless modem on the right side or the left side of the wireless mining turtle? I get the msg no modem on right side.
If you look at a turtle when you place it, the spot with the bump where there's a line across? That's the chest on the *back* of the turtle. Typically a mining turtle's pick is on the right side, so adding a modem will put the modem on the left side. That's why Dire wrote his code (that he showed us!) to say "left" instead of the usual. If you're not sure, look for the back of the turtle, and from there you should be able to figure out which side the modem is on. Or just change the code from "right" to "left" and see if that works.

By the way, where is the Season 5 SMP modlist?
I posted it just one page back. Dire hasn't posted it himself, probably because there's no modpack for us to download.

Also, add in Thaumcraft, as it was added just a day or two after Dire started the season.

Direwolf can you do some moar applied energistics and release direwolf20 pack 1.5.1 plz

    thx
    CGaming
Typically Dire does a whole new season, with a whole new modpack, when he upgrades to a new version of Minecraft. We may have a few episodes yet of 1.4.7. On the FTB forums, it was noted that a final version of the 1.4.7 Direwolf20 modpack should be available "soon".

Having an issue where I cant use indigo dye to dye a sheep, just doesn't work for some reason but cant figure it out for anything.

I'm not sure indigo works on sheep. Use lapis instead.

Just to let folks know, I wrote down the list of mods that Direwolf named off for the latest iteration of Forgecraft 1 in his new SMP season 5 video (because I know people will be begging for the list for the next few months):

    Forgecraft 1 current mods:

    Applied Energistics
    Bibliocraft
    Biomes O Plenty
    Buildcraft
    Chicken Chunks
    Compact Solars
    ComputerCraft
    Equivalent Exchange 3
    Ender Storage
    Factorization
    Forestry
    Gravity Gun
    IC2
    Inventory Tweaks (just for Dire)
    Iron Chests
    MFFS (Minalien's version)
    Misc Peripherals
    Modular Power Suits
    Natura
    NEI (with new plugins)
    Omnitools
    Portal Gun
    Railcrart
    Steve's Carts
    Tinkers' Construct
    Thaumic Bees
    Thermal Expansion
    Twilight Forest

One thing I noticed was, Thaumic Bees but not Thaumcraft. I'm not sure what's going on there, and either I or Dire may have missed that one in the list.

HOW THE **** DID YOU DO THE PROGRAM ON "Season 5 - Episode 22 Upgrades + Peat"????????????????????

Really bad showing of the program, you just basically explained alot of **** that only previous experience with programming has

WHAT EXACTLY SHOULD I WRITE INTO THE ****ING TURTLE?

I'm going to guess that's the bucket filler turtle? Check the OP, under the spoiler marked "COMPUTER CRAFT CODE" in big, bold, blue letters.

What you write into the turtle is -- and this is incredibly difficult...

    pastebin get VjMEWPDc startup

Then you reboot the turtle and walk away.
Alternately, you could read the code at the Pastebin document linked in the OP, while looking up ComputerCraft and MiscPeripherals, and learn what that stuff means.

Can anyone tell me how to get what direwolf has in his inventory based on the epsiode number cause when i downloaded 1 of the let's play maps i had a completely empty inventory

Direwolf20 usually puts his inventory in a chest for the world downloads, so you can get his stuff. Did you look around for that chest?

In setting up IC2 machines in my new base I discovered a bug with Painters. I had two sets of Glass Fibre Cables running next to one another, one coming from my Geothernal Generators into my MFE, and the other coming from the LV Transformer next to it and feeding my machines. Since I didn't want the two cables connecting to each other, I had to paint them. The colors I chose were based on what I had on hand: Dandelion Yellow and Ink Sacs. While the yellow ones painted OK, the Ink Sac Painter would not work at all on the Glass Fibre Cables. I ended up using Lapis Lazuli for the other cable instead, since I also had a lot of that.

Apparently, black painters remove painted color from IC2 power cables. I don't know what they do on hardened construction foam (which can also be painted).

EDIT: Fixed it.. Forgot to run the awaitCommand program on all the turtles.. lol.

I'm trying to set up this massive turtle digging thing that DW20 took 3 episodes to make. I'm to the point where its all setup, and all programs are on the main computer/turtles. The structure moves correctly, however when sending the dig command nothing happens.

He never said what he named the turtles, the dig command seems to say 22-37. So I used the "label set XX" command to make the turtles 22 through 37. I also tried q22 through q37. The turtles do not seem to place the mining wells.

I was also unsure about the wireless routers, he seemed to skip explaining them. I combined them with the turtles to make Wireless Mining Turtles, and then I just put another wireless router on the side of the computer. Is this right?

If I send the "cycle" command to turtle directly, he digs.. so it has to be something I did wrong with the wireless router setup.

What am I suppose to call the turtles? What could be wrong?

There's a difference between machine ID (the number the computer is hard-coded to use) and label (the name you set for it). Wireless stuff uses the ID, not the label, but if you don't label your computers and turtles, they'll get a new ID whenever you break and place them.

Also, instead of specific IDs, you could just use rednet.broadcast() to send a single dig command to all nearby computers.

How do you terminate a turtle program when its running? My charging turtle doesn't work after restarting the server. I looked and didn't find it but might have overlooked it.

Right-click the turtle to see its GUI. Then hold one of these for two seconds:
Ctrl-T to Terminate a running program
    Ctrl-S to Shutdown a turtle/computer
    Ctrl-R to Restart or Reboot.

    I love watching your series!

Dire uploads a new copy about every ten episodes.

Is this a series for mods only? Or is there a website to sign up on? It'd be kind of cool to hang out with some of these guys.

Forgecraft (and Forgecraft2) is invitation only, but a lot of Forgecrafters have Twitch streams or YouTube channels. Plus, there are IRC channels (mostly on Esper.net), including one for Direwolf20. :)
