    Is there any way to specify a damage value when adding a block to the block-list?


    For example, I'm trying to add Quarried Stone from Railcraft to my block-list but it shares the same ID name with other Railcraft blocks so if I add quarried stone, it adds all of the other Railcraft blocks with the same ID name to the list.


    Any help is much appreciated. :)

    Alrighty, thanks. I had issues with Twilight Forest and Factorization having conflicting dimension IDs causing any unexplored land in Twilight Forest to turn into the void. I just wanted to avoid having an issue like that again. :P

    Void worlds are a good place to build bases since the lack of anything else in the age makes it so there's a lot less lag. This is particularly helpful if you're playing a tech related modpack such as the FTB modpacks since building a big base in the overworld can get laggy.


    Unrelated.. Can anyone tell me what the config for this mod is named? I can't seem to find it. I just want to make sure there's no conflicts with dimension IDs.

    I still can't seem to find any dark iron and I feel like I'm doing something extremely wrong but I have no idea what that is. I've gone through the config and made sure anything related to the Dark Iron was enabled like regular generation and retro-generation. The config has an option for a retrogen key and it says default but I have no idea what the default key is or how to change the default key (I don't know what to put in place of "DEFAULT" in the config). I've looked through anything that seemed related in the config but I still can't get dark iron to spawn. Can anyone tell me what this key is and what it does?

    I did end up finding spots in-game that spawned Factorization blasted bedrock but still no dark iron (picture below in spoiler).









    I've mined a few areas just like that but still nothing. I've made sure I'm mining between y1-5. I've beaten the colossus (it exploded and everything).

    I've even made new worlds, using both Standard and Biomes-O-Plenty terrain generation options and I couldn't find dark iron in either.

    I must be doing something insanely wrong but I have no idea what. D: I'm currently installing finder compass and configuring it to see if it will show any dark iron ore at all.

    If any has answers, any help is much appreciated. I've resorted to just giving myself 1 dark iron ore per draconian ore that I find but I'd really like to just get it fixed somehow.

    Good to see some of those other fixes. That map crash was really bugging me. Now if only I could find dark iron ore legitimately. xD

    edit 2: after following it for 2+ hrs it sent me on the longest goose chase of an adventure i've ever been on; with no definitive/perciveable end in sight and having to spawn in a second map to continue about 1.5 hrs in it's not worth it unless you want to free logic things, crystalied dark iron or dark iron sprockets.

    Whenever I right click with the map it ends up crashing the game for some reason. I've had it work a few times but the majority of time it just crashes.

    I really haven't been having much luck with the mod which really sucks because it has some really nifty items.

    I haz question!

    How exactly do I get retrogen to work? I enabled the options in the config (except for silver) but I can't find the dark iron ore anywhere. I've gone pretty far away from any explored area to generate new chunks but I still can't find it (mining at bedrock) although I was able to find Factorization's silver.

    I took a look in the manual and it did say something about finding it in craters in the bedrock but I couldn't find any other information regarding the craters. I know another mod affects the bedrock generation by making it flat so could that have to do with anything? Although I'm pretty it worked on earlier versions of the FTB modpacks (I'm currently using FTB Infinity 1.7.10, just FYI) which also had flat bedrock generation.

    Small problem.. I'm trying to add certain tools to the toollist but whenever I add the via command (veinminer add pickaxe etc.), they're not added permanently. When I go to load up the game again after closing it out, the tools are no longer registered.

    Am I doing something wrong or is there another way to add tools permanently? Any help is much appreciated. :)

    Well, I did figure out a quick fix for the problem. If you do save and exit out of a world you plan on coming back to, be sure to quit out of minecraft completely before trying to load your world. This resets the frequencies back to normal, otherwise it will just keep adding ghost pipes onto the frequency.

    I hope this helps anyone who's having the same problem.

    Remember to delete old buildcraft files from mods folder. That one BC jar file equals 5-6 old BC 2.2.14/3.1.5 rar files


    Oh okay, thanks. I just wasn't sure because I'm used to the rars.

    *edit* Unfortunately, that didn't fix the issue. Every time I save and come back, it still adds another number under connected.

    I have a sort of interesting problem. For some reason, my teleport pipes are detecting pipes that don't actually exist. I'll have two pipes setup to connect to each other and it will end up showing a random number, like 6 or 10 for example, of pipes connected even though it's only those two.

    Is this a known issue and is there any way to fix it manually? I have started going around replacing all of my pipes and creating new networks, but I'm just wondering if there's some other way.

    *Edit* I'm not sure this is important, but I am using logistic pipes along side teleport pipes.

    *Edit 2* Hmm.. It seems to add a number every time I save and exit then reload my world.
