posted a message on [Portal] ApertureCraft Vanilla - an unbeliveable vanilla Portal Map

My brother and I were spending quite alot of time to find a good map to play, and we found this! It was really fun playing, and I was surprised at how well it mirrored the game just with command blocks.
I made a playthrough of the map in multiplayer, knowing it was singleplayer only (well, only after grabbing the Weighted Storage Cube). I mean, co-op means to work as one, right?

There were some problems we faced, might be just from playing it on multiplayer. I'll put them in the spoiler tag.

    - We spawned outside of the map in creative mode, like how ArttuPoika mentioned before.

    - Looking up didn't reset the map ._. Maybe I understood it wrong.

    - Aerial Faith Plate stopped working after stepping on it bunch of times.

    I hope to see a co-op map next :)

Ay! I played the map, and there were parts that really surprised me and I liked it alot! I'll put them in the spoiler in case of others.

I didn't expect the block to pull back when I broke the second chiseled quartz block. I liked that alot; I don't know how to put it, but it felt like the map really interacted with the player physically, and I really enjoy that. The detour was also unexpected and 'interactive'. I hope to see more of that in your second map.

Anyway, I made a shitty edit with your map. I tried to make a voice for JerMM, but it just turned out terrible :/

posted a message on Ambient Sounds - 150+ New Sounds using Vanilla Sounds and Commands!

Oh wow. Great job on the work, dude. I would use it in all my worlds, but this seems too much work for me.
I'm wondering if you could combine all these command in to a single block. By that, I mean with this webtool somebody created. As far as I know, with this I could just copy a command in to all my worlds, place a single command block, and run the command to create what you created. If I could do that, I'd surely use your creation.

The map could be for multiplayer if you make it /a. Well, as long as they stick together like how I did with my friends.
I'll start working on the translation and somehow get this map out to the Koreans as well.

I've played the map with my friends as well, but it seems that the chat was still not fixed. I'm pretty sure you just have to switch /r with /a for the chat.
Oh, if you need Korean translation, I can do it. Just tell me.

"horror map that gives the scary mood when played"
    Best description ever.

I believe that people anticipate some more creativity in maps with all the updates that are coming up with the new patches, like new commands and possibility of custom sounds and texture. But from what I'm seeing, non of these are implemented in your map. I can't come to any but to one conclusion, that you did not put enough effort in creating this map.

Use less other mods? Assign more memory to Java?

I don't understand your point. From my understanding Optifine is suppose to improve game performance, not to crash it with OutOfMemory error when it previously didn't without Optifine.

    I have a problem.
I made a modpack for myself and my friends, and since there's over 70 mods, I decided to add Optifine in to it.
Without optifine, I get about 30 - 40 fps. I realized that optifine would make it better, and then
with optifine, I get about 60 fps. But, it keeps on crashing my game, saying that it's out of memory. It was totally fine when there wasn't optifine in it, but then it crashes when optifine is added, as if I lowered my performance. Any help?

I enjoy just about every LP I see on it so I'm happy you made it. But how on earth did you "survive" the cactus?

I crouched on the edge of the sand :P

Qmagnet, you are really good at making maps! I've seen 2 maps that were created by you so far, and they are awesome. I couldn't help myself but to try it since I have never seen and played a multi-genre CTM map. I started a series of the map despite so many people already recording the map :P
This is not included in the video (but coming in Ep.3), I survived the cactus trap in the Trivia branch. It's not anything special since I can't do anything in there, but just to let you know :P
