The only time we people can use the word "scrools" is in "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim".
Otherwise, it's "scrools". -

They edited it so it's brighter. The original is on the MC Wiki: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/File:EndermenReddit.png -

There's a glitch since 1.7.3, that when you ride a boat at speed into a slab or soul sand, the boat will instantly break and will deal high damage to you, often killing you. Best practice is to slow down and never let your boat touch the coastline.

On a side note, I appear to be growing an unhealthy addiction to Ghast spawners.
EDIT: I have also deleted the poll asking about number three - I figure I'd better get #01 and #02 out of the way first. I do have ideas, though, and these will be presented in a more defined poll later on. Votes towards the old poll have been recorded.

Alright. I can get started with Crystalborough Forest now.
EDIT: Here you go, Cran.

He made this video a LONG time ago. Long enough that the seed generation works have changed.
The jumble of letters and numbers is the YouTube watch code. Imma embed it for you.

If you bothered to hover your mouse over the link for a second, you'd see that it leads to YouTube, not imgur. In fact, if Vechs really did have a screenshot, he'd embed it, like all good Minecraftians do.

If you can achieve this with note blocks in Minecraft, and place it in one of your maps, along with the giant obsidian-and-snow trollface, you will be officially regarded as a Level 25 Professional Minecraft Troll.

EDIT: Enderdragons for the win.

First of all, decide what kind of map you want to make. Cave themed? Sky themed? Linear-Branching or Open World? Easy, Normal, Hard, or ROMHack?
Once you know what you want, it's a lot easier. MCEdit will be a big part of your map-making - I don't see how you would possibly make do without it. Using Minecraft-generated terrain isn't the best idea. (I assume you've read Vech's Toolkit README.)
Get used to using the Brush tool, and all its options. Go in-game only to place chests, spawners (assuming you have Spawner GUI), etc. and play-test.
Well that's what I try to do. Every map-maker does things differently, so do what's comfortable and works best. Good luck!

Did you get my PM? If not, I'll just put it here again:

The US Government could probably do with that computer of yours. They'd pay highly for it.

Use the utterly awesome power of the SIGN.

Spawners, my friend. Spawners...
(go into Race For Wool #02 in Creative mode, and dig straight down below the sign that says, "Millbee Park")
