Not to bug Boni or anything, but are throwing knifes going to be re-implemented in 1.12.2?

If so, would they be able to allow the user to stop time for a maximum of nine seconds, with the ability to increase the attack damage of thrown knives by one heart every time the wielder shouts "USELESS" or "FUTILE" five times.

Alright, since listing all the bosses in order from easiest to hardest would be difficult for me, I'll categorize via set difficulties: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Brutal. Hopefully this doesn't act as a hindrance to whatever you're doing.

And of course, this list is completely based off my experience and what I think the general difficulty is.

    Easy:
    Smash
    Vinocorne
    King BamBamBam
    Silverfoot
    Bane
    Elusive
    Hive King

    Medium:
    Mechbot
    Crystocore
    Corallus
    Rockrider
Skeletron (w/o skeletal army of course)
    Shadowlord
    Kror
    Gyro

    Hard:
    Voxxulon
    Xxeus
    C.R.E.E.P
    Visualent
    Clunkhead
    King Shroomus

    Brutal:
    Evercron
    Crae
    Evercron
    Baroness

(These aren't really in a set order per category, especially the Brutal category)

    Evercron has a twin brother?

So I had this question on my mind for a while now, does anyone ever imagine different music playing when fighting AoA bosses?

Whenever I fight something like Horon, I imagine this (copyrighted) music playing in my head instead of the normal boss theme:

And for most of the other bosses.

    Craexxeus/Xxeus:

    Voxxulon:

    Baroness:

    Shadowlord:

    Hive King:

Skele-Elder (I know this isn't a boss, but this woul be the theme for the waves prior to Skeletron:

    Skeletron:

    Elusive:

    Crystocore:

    Tyrosaur:

    Four Guardians (Start at 2:13):

    Bane:

    Graw:

    Kror:

    Visualent:

    Smash:

Gyro (I ran out of ideas on this one):

    The Immortals:

Also, I imagine there being different music for most of the (non vanilla) dimensions.

    The Haven:

The abyss (Arguable the most predictable music choice. C'mon, you guys know what it is):

    Precasia:

    Mysterium:

    Iromine:

    Lunalus:

    The Deeplands:

    Gardencia:

    Greckon:

    L'Borean:

    Dustopia:

    Lands of Runador:

    Barathos:

    Vox Ponds:

    Lands of Lelyetia:

    Ancient Cavern (The middle structure)

    Crystevia:

    Candyland:

    Immortallis (Lobby):

    Immortallis (In dungeon):

    Creeponia:

    The Shyrelands:

It'd be pretty cool to see someone make an AoA addon that adds music to the dimensions, otherwise.

posted a message on Robloxian vs Steve, anybody?

Well, crap, this thread is painfully old, and I've actually found out alot about both characters (And researched the Robloxian more in-depth).

    Robloxian

    Steve

And now, here's my new opinion:

The Robloxian, while being physically weaker than Steve, can casually speedblitze him via several abilities that otherwise negate conventional durability and the like. Even if Steve is granted creative mode or mods, the Robloxian would be able to casually delete him with the delete tool without any real difficulties whatsoever.

Before you complain 'Creative mode steve is immune to damage!', then why does he die within the void - a place that damages entities constantly by ignoring durability?

So, I've just gotten an idea, and you guys can tell me if you would like it or not. I propose that since addons are going to be the only source of new content (as it currently seems), we can make addons a very community oriented thing. It is for this reason that I have created...

    this:

    http://aoa-community-addon.wikia.com/wiki/AoA_Community_Addon_Wiki

It is a wiki for people to post their ideas, or their items, blocks, mobs, etc that have been created already. It will allow everyone to share their ideas, and to give proper feedback on them. Let's make addons together, and let's make AoA feel brand new again :)

Are we also allowed to add pages for existing addons (And certain pages that describe information for the items from the specific addon with the mod name in parentheses after its name)?

Also, what are you going to do with all these ideas?

So, I was playing on an FTB Departed server (The modpack was based around AoA, if you didn't know), killed Horon to see if I'd get any of his drops while I had hitbox borders enabled (f3 + b), and I saw that, upon being killed, he left a tiny mob upon death called "ancient magic", which appears to make those ominous noises - that alongside respawning the boss after 30 seconds. It's entirely possible to affect the minuscule mob with a wizard staff - thus entirely making that boss be incapable of respawning. Same works by turning the AC boss itself into a chicken, as it doesn't kill them.

(I've tested most of this stuff in creative mode on a singleplayer world

I can only assume that, in the 2.5 snapshot, this is the primary reason why the game crashes after any of the AC bosses are defeated.

I've also used a cacophonium (Botania item) on an ancient magic, which then made really creepy sounds.

I'm not surprised that nobody has mentioned this yet, but most of Lunalus' mobs are references to Commander Keen enemies:

The Baumbas have a similar name, appearance and behaviors to Bobbas.

Reflucts, while they don't share the 'flect' in their names, have a similar behavior, and ability, as that of the flects - with the only difference being the color & behavior.

Zorps are similar to Yorps, however, zorps are blue and have that grin.

Zargs are designed identically to gargs, however, they are cyan-colored as compared to their lime tones.

I might assume that, because of these references - and that one of Xolova's favorite mobs are baumbas - that Xolova used to play one of the games when he was young.

So, because I was a huge baby, I decided to test how 'scary' the Greckon mobs were towards me in a new world. They were a bit less scarier than I thought.

The grillface's screen effects don't overlap eachother, and are a bit random per tick, so you get to barely see them. Plus, the 'scream' isn't very loud, quite a bit less than a bunch of sheep in a room.

The silencers have about 5-6 second overlays between each inventory drop.

The hunter's death sound isn't very loud either, and, infact, are literally super close to sounding like a normal AoA mob's death.

Can you make it so there is some type of ritual or process to becoming a spider queen/king i just think it will be a nice touch for multiplayer

That depends on how powerful the spider form is, thought, considering that players have the ability to easily make bases just about anywhere they want to, create armies by simply smiting mobs, generate string for combat/building/crafting, and pretty much a lack of cons. The ritual would have to be really difficult to pull off, then.

So, I grinded myself a set of rosidian armor on an FTB Departed server.

At first, I thought the armor was absolute garbage due to the rosids being cannibalistic and eating eachother alive, however, I was wrong.

    Like, really wrong.

In a way, it's like elementium armor from Botania, except that it has superior minions, defense and durability. It works very well until you get to level 100 creation, and even then, it's still great.

You need to run? Just use rosidian armor to feed your bloodthirsty plant children distract the assailant(s) in order to flee.

You need to fight a boss but you don't want to take hits? Just use rosidian armor so you can spare a hit off of yourself.

OK can someone help me? I have divine rpg and im decent at code and ive done everything i can but theres this issue with 1 annoying mob. The rainbour.. A few facts i would like to disprove.. "they will not attack a player unless provoked" wrong they are extremely hostile to me and i dont know why. "They are rare to find" also wrong becasue the second i turn off peaceful they will spawn within 2-10 seconds! and they are EVERYWHERE. I dont know what to do. Ive disabled them in the config, taken out their code (crashed the game), and even reset my saves and configs multiple times. Im stumped and THEY WONT GO AWAY. even with creative and op weapons (which ruins the game experience) they are extremely hard to hit because their hitbox seems to be impossible to hit. its as if they have the hitbox of an ant. Does anyone know why all this is happening or how i can fix it? i love the divine rpg and dont want to have to get rid of it due to one annoying bugged mob. Yeah i would call this a problem. and this was here as soon as i switched to easy.

If I'm not mistaken, they only spawn below a certain layer underground, if you were to make a superflat world that has a higher elevation (Overworld preset, for example), they wouldn't be spawning on the surface of it, rather, they would spawn in underground areas with enough space.

Though, I also think this is a really annoying thing, too. I'd like to do a playthrough on superflat whereas to obtain most of the weaponry to defend yourself and all, you'd have to pillage towns and stay in the houses to survive the cave mobs from attacking you at night.

Such as? Tools, obviously since AoA doesn't do much with them at all (just a couple overworld ones and the skeletal tools which are extremely impractical). Weapons? Any end-game weapons from other mods not named Orespawn (or those overpowered 9999 damage sword mods) are likely to not deal as much damage as AoA weapons, and those that do would require a large power supply.

I'm referring to weapons that can obsolete certain weapons in later AoA dimensions, the weapons from Tconstruct are a huge example of this due to their insane stats once upgraded thoroughly. It's pretty boring to kill near-every boss by simply using the same, exact weapon without any downfalls whatsoever. Though, I feel as if armor isn't that big of a concern unless it makes mobs deal no damage whatsoever, so Thaumcraft/Botania may be pretty balanced in the modpack, then.

Though, If he does use Thaumcraft in the modpack, then I'd advise him to use AoT with it, considering that it wouldn't make Thaumcraft get out-tiered.
