The Minecraft login server is always down. Which makes it impossible for people to join my server, and when people can't join my server, they blame me, and when they blame me, they stop playing my server! When they stop playing my server, it makes me rage.

First off, I'll say that my server is an RP server. If someone were to get on a boat to go to unexplored lands, they'd have to change the IP to fit the according world. So, is there any kind of plugin, that when someone hits a certain button, sign, etc, they transfer to the server that was specified?
It looks awesome the way it is presented, and I cannot stress enough, as just a video, it deserves many a diamond – skulls(?), but I believe we’re discussing this as a multiplayer gameplay mode and to play it as it was shown would be excessively unbalanced to the predator.
It is true that it might be possible to balance out the gameplay to be fair, fun, and even authentic, so that it would be a truly epic experience, but even if I spent the 90+ min. to figure it out, I still would have this looming question; is this in the same spirit of what Notch would have intended?

This takes the point of the game from a sandbox player, where hard work, smarts, and patience to survive are rewarded with the opportunity to build great and wondrous things, and the only competition is who can build better, faster, to a game of cat and mouse where people are competing to survive and kill each other.
However, Notch’s intentions are far better known by others, so he could be all for this.
But… if the answer is no, then what would be the point of playing Minecraft? Would it still be for playing Minecraft or would it be for playing this predator game? I mean this isn’t a modification to the game anymore, it’s a revision. You’re no longer item and structure oriented, rather action oriented as you could clearly see in the video, no longer mining and crafting, you’re hunting and killing, and I can already find more games that give points for kills than I wish, almost everywhere I look.
Now this simple concept for a predator game is tremendous, and I would love to see this made into a game, I just don’t want to see Minecraft exploited to this end, especially if it desecrates what Minecraft stands for.
That said, even if this is what Notch intended, I still would rather play AVP, or an exclusively Predator game that was built and designed to play as such, rather than a knock off from Minecraft, but this is my single opinion, my single vote against the emphatic “YES!” I hear.
