I understand the thing with not being able to update to 1.7 yet, however, will you continue to add features and work on the actual mod, like some of the stuff on your todo list?

Oops. Well, I did some more reading on Fallout, and discovered some helpful stuff having to with Fallout 2, which took place in 2241, so now it should make sense.

RP Scenario: (Use the scenario written below)

    Time: 3:18 P.M.

Location: 27 miles South of Columbus.

As you're walking north along a desolate highway to a few hundred meters ahead you can see 2 large black birds circling in the sky, to the east a few miles off large thunderheads can be seen. Hopeful to avoid the storm you begin to walk a bit more briskly scanning your area to find shelter from the rain. You observe a small light grey smoke plume coming from the median of the highway only a couple hundred meters away. Before approaching the scene you take a quick look in your bag (below is a list of your items). As you approach the scene you can see that it is a Summit Trading Company Caravan that has been hit, the merchant lies dead near a slaughtered Brahman blood covers his clothing and a box of items is scattered near him. Of the two guards, one lies near a jersey barrier; empty shell casings from the cowboy repeater are scattered around the body. The other guard is struggling to pull himself upright using the one of the carts wheels, his leg has been blown off below the shin and is now nothing but a bloody mix of singed skin and asphalt.

    Bag contents:

    1x 10mm Pistol

    7x 10mm Pistol rounds

    1x bottle of dirty water

    2x mentants

    1x salisbury steak

    1x Squirrel on a stick

    1x small radio (working)

    1x stimpak

1x Half-used first aid kit (missing supplies)

    What do you do?:
I pulled my gun out of my bag. In the distance I could see the man, barely alive. I approached carefully, staying low and watched for any hostiles. I got to him and analyzed his leg. There was no way to reattach it now. It was too late. I surveyed the area, finding any supplies had been taken by the attackers. As I headed back to the man, I pulled out my bottle of dirty water and knelt down beside him. He struggled to open his mouth as I poured some of the water down his throat. He managed a grateful smile and I asked him if there was anything I could do for him. He nodded and tried to speak, but winced in pain. I reluctantly took out my stimpak and injected it into his thigh. He ground his teeth for a moment, then let out a sigh of relief. He thanked me and asked me to contact the Summit company on one of there channels. I took out my radio, tuned to the channel, and informed them in on the situation. They replied with news that they would send a few men to pick him up and bring him home. They thanked me, and I turned off the radio. I went back to the man and told him the good news. He began to cry and thanked me continuously.  I smiled at him and gave him the steak in my bag. He took it and gently began to eat it. I stayed with him until I saw the Summit's men approaching. I then stood up, wished him luck, and went on his way, not telling him my name or anything more.
Character biography (At LEAST 2 paragraphs):
Mason Kyling was born in a small town just south of Capital Wasteland. He was too young to remember it's name as a group of blood-thirsty raiders came through and laid his town in ruins. He was picked up by an older trader who felt sadness for the child. He raised Mason, and taught him many important lessons that he would have to know to survive. Eventually the trader retired not far south of Arroyo, with 23 year old Mason at his side.
Mason spent the next 7 years living happily, making friends wherever he went, as he was a relatively friendly guy. As he lived his life out happily, he eventually met a girl named Diana Suthers. After months of seeing each other, he asked her to marry him. She ecstatically said yes. However, two days before their wedding day, the Enclave swept through the area. Despite Mason's attempts, he lost his fiancee, friends, and the man who raised him, forcing him to flee for his own survival, believing them dead. And from that day forward, he has been wandering the Wasteland, vowing revenge on the Enclave, until his hunger was satisfied, now matter his actions, for as long as he completed his goal, the end justifies the means.

It was all relatively good until I got to the biography. Few minor things.. You seem to be in New Vegas by the end of your biography, but the server is set in Ohio. If you find a way to make it to Ohio it's alright, but also.. The server is set in 2242, Enclave doesn't have any history of attacking New Vegas in that time frame. Actually, they haven't even left california. If you can fix up your biography you're all set to be accepted!

What rp experience do you have?:
I've played Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Skyrim, Obivion, Deus Ex (All 3), Dishonored, & Far Cry 3 (Kind of RPish).

The RP experience you listed includes only RPGs, which while classified as role playing is not the same Role Playing that this sever provides. While In your listed games you only interact with NPCs and in this server and many others like it RP is between players which is very different.

I see. Thank you for your clarification. I guess I'll preorder Elder Scrolls Online and submit a normal whitelist application. Thanks again.

Sorry, but you don't have any actual RP experience as far as interaction with other players, your reason to be staff here seems more like why you like fallout. I suggest if you really want to be staff here would be to post a white list application to get of feel of how Player to Player RP is.

You correct saying that my main reason for wanting to join this server is because of Fallout, as I love the games, however what do you mean by player to player RP. Please clarify.

Why do you want to be staff here? (At least 1-2 good paragraphs):
I would like to be staff here because I LOVE Fallout. Besides New Vegas. I couldn't quite get into that one. But I loved Fallout 3. I enjoy almost every RPG game I've ever played, except for the Anime or Manga ones, I have no interest in WoW (I think that's the abbreviation). I also don't like being bored so much. I love playing Minecraft and all, but as we all know... it can get a bit boring. And I don't like boring. And Fallout and Minecraft together... perfect!
Not to mention, one of my biggest values in games is the story. Bad story, don't care, not playing it. And it really sounds like you guys care about the story and that would perfect for me. Plus, I can contribute to the story, if need help. I always thought it'd be cool if there was a massive developing story that the PLAYERS could control. However, it would have one or several definite endings made by the creators of the server. And based on what the players do, would determine the ending, which fits the server pretty well, if I don't say so myself. So, I most certainly hope this is a good explanation, because I really want to be part of this!
What experience in Fallout do you have?:
I've played Fallout 3 and New Vegas, but couldn't quite get into New Vegas, as Obsidian Entertainment didn't do as a good a job as Bethesda.
What rp experience do you have?:
I've played Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Skyrim, Obivion, Deus Ex (All 3), Dishonored, & Far Cry 3 (Kind of RPish).
What staff experience do you have?:
I have my own server and used to whitelist people, but now it's for personal & friend usage.
Pick 2 of our rules and come up with 1 situation for each rule in which a player is breaking that rule, and how you would handle it:
Metagaming: First, I tell them they ARE meta-gaming. Then, I maturely ask why they would meta-game. If they give me a stupid reason like, "No I wasn't" then I'll temporarily ban and send them off with a warning also. If they said they didn't know, and apologized, I would let them off with a warning that next time, I'd temporarily ban them.
Hacking (With Proof): To start, I'd ask them if they're hacking. If they say they weren't, then POOF! Banned. If they apologize, or say they weren't aware, I'll temporarily ban them and ask and admin what I should do with them, therefore following his or her orders.
Why should we accept you as staff? (At least 1-2 good paragraphs):
If chosen, I would be very dedicated, as I have about 6-20 hours I can put in a week (based on schedule). I know this is the cheesy answer, I know. But it's true. I would obey all rules, which is also a cheesy answer! And I'm probably one of the least racist and sexist people you'll ever meet. See! I did read the rules on the original post! I would make sure I get all my duties done, no matter what happens outside of the server (Unless I die. Then I can't do anything. My ghost fingers would just float through the keyboard and mouse). I asked to sub in for a builder I'd get it done, if asked to ban a friend, I'd do it, but with some difficulty. So please, take me in! Life is boring right now, and Fallout makes it better, and so does Minecraft. Magic together. I don't feel like more flat out PvP. I wanna' do something, get something done! And if I think I can, then I WILL. If you except me.
Anything else to add that might help your chances?:
My brain is crammed with great ideas if you need any. And I build houses. Not big builds, though. I get bored with those.
Skype (100% necessary but no mic or camera needed):
I do have skype, along with a microphone.

"The end always justifies the means."

So, I most certainly hope this is a good explanation, because I really want to be part of this!
What experience in Fallout do you have?:
I completed the main story for Fallout 3, and got the dog (yay!). I also nearly beat the main story of New Vegas, but got confused, then bought Skyrim.
What RP experience do you have?: I've played Fallout 3 & New Vegas, along with Skyrim, Oblivion, Dishonored, Deus Ex (All 3 games), and Far Cry 3 (Little bit RPG).
What staff experience do you have?:
I have my own server, and I've managed it pretty well with no help, with multiple worlds for people to play different adventure maps on. They reset automatically. Usually.
    Define Power Gaming (1 Paragraph):
Power Gaming is playing a game with the goal of maximizing progress towards a goal, usually ignoring storytelling, atmosphere, and trust with other players, therefore ruining the experience for both themselves and other players. Ex: Screw the story! I wanna' kill So&So since he killed me in a faction battle! Argh!
    Define Meta-Gaming (1 Paragraph):
Meta-gaming is when a player using foresight of knowledge of a game to go beyond the limits of the game. The player goes OUT of character to gain goals, ignoring character and atmosphere, therefore destroying the gaming experience for many others. Ex: You see a Medusa, and character doesn't know how to kill it, as it hasn't experienced one before. However, the player knows that they can use a mirror to have the Medusa freeze itself, despite character knowledge.
Say someone is Meta-Gaming, What would you do? (1 Paragraph explanation):
First, I tell them they ARE meta-gaming. Then, I maturely ask why they would meta-game. If they give me a stupid reason like, "No I wasn't" then I'll temporarily ban and send them off with a warning also. If they said they didn't know, and apologized, I would let them off with a warning that next time, I'd temporarily ban them.
Say someone is hacking, and someone has proof of it, What would you do? (1 Paragraph explanation):
To start, I would find this player and ask them if they are hacking. If they say they weren't (And I have proof), I will temporarily ban them with a warning of a permanent ban next time they do it. If they apologize, I'll let them off with a warning that next time, I'll temporarily ban them. Similar to my meta-gaming thing.
    Plugin Experience:
I'm excellent with WorldEdit, okay with VoxelSniper (The Big 2), and I can pretty much figure anything else out relatively quickly by reading. Except NPC plugins. Those are CONFUSING!
    Experience with Application (Accepting/Denying)
I have my own server and have accepted a few people with the whitelisting. I myself haven't been very specific, but if you'd like I can be.
Should you disrespect players if they are disrespecting you?:
No. But if I were you guys, I'd ask a little less obvious answer question. I mean, I don't know exactly what, but anyone can type "no."
Why should we accept you as staff? (At least 1-3 good paragraphs):
If chosen, I would be very dedicated, as I have about 6-20 hours I can put in a week (based on schedule). I know this is the cheesy answer, I know. But it's true. I would obey all rules, including things about the color GREEN! :steve_wink: Wink! And I'm probably one of the least racist and sexist people you'll ever meet. See! I did read the rules on the original post! I would make sure I get all my duties done, no matter what happens outside of the server (Unless I die. Then I can't do anything. And now the moment of truth. By the way... Enclave! BOO! They suck. Majorly.

I remember my first time playing minecraft. A looooooooooong time ago... the ORIGINAL minecraft! No survival, just build with a very small selection of blocks. I don't know if it's still available to play, but it was free, since it was beta to the beta. Ah, how minecraft has changed.

I will be watching this mod very closely. I'm sick of waiting for dragons!
