feature request! edible mushrooms? I can't stand how they're worthless unless we mix both types into a bowl, and take up a whole item slot for each one, would make sense for them to give like 1 hunger point or something at least right? also again for some stackable bowls, crafted bowl food still does not stack.

Putting this in a separate post because of the quoting. I wouldn't mind edible shrooms, but it's alright that 'bowl' items don't stack. What makes those foods different is that you can still store large amounts as ingredients, then have a single bowl that you just refill each time you eat. The different method of storage makes them 'different' compared to other, normally stackable foods. This feature was present with normal mushroom soup. However it is important that Chocolate Ice Cream stack, as it's a multi-step recipe, not just 'add stuff to bowl'.

First and foremost, if I may foam at the mouth a little bit.

    DOOOOGGIIIIIIEEEES! *flails around*

*cough* Ah-hem, as you can see I'm a huge canine fan... I always have a pack of wolves following me around in this game, even though I'm fairly new to it. Unfortunately I started playing the very night they updated to 1.3.1, so I can't use this mod yet... but oh boy am I excited. I love raising pets in any game, canines in particular... So having puppy talents and alternate skills makes me very happy. Take your time, I know in order to update it will take someone cracking the new obfuscated code... so I won't get impatient (I've only had the game for a few days so far anyways. xD )

I have two dogs myself... a chow/shepherd mix, and a hound/lab mix... first male, second female. Lastly..

Does this mod really prevent dogs from drowning? I lose more pets in minecraft to 'swimming under the edge of a tree bordering the water' than any other source really. -.- Not to mention downcurrents.
