I'm just looking to hear where they will have it and buy some tickets!!! If it's in Florida, so be it and yes we will check out the nearby attractions and I will be going to Walmart on a nightly basis at Kissimmee. And if they have it in NYC, even better! This will be a family treat for us!

True. Hopefully Jeb keeps his word and reveals the location by tomorrow :\

I'm pretty sure that if it was to be held in New York, more people would come.

Remember that in both 2011 and 2012 that all minecon tickets sold out. I'm quite sure that this year won't be an exception. Point is, the amount of people coming isn't going to be a problem regardless of the location of minecon (as long as it's in a developed area I'd assume) since people fly in from all parts of the world.

Post wasn't meant to be deragotory, sorry if you took it like that. But how can you beat Jacob Javits Convention Center that is 675,000 square feet and can host up to 85,000 people at any given time. And transportation to and from is so easy, buses, subways, cabs, etc. Just spitting out some facts. Let's hear it from you Floridians. I hear Disney during Thanksgiving is nice.

Maybe not all concentration in one area, but magic kingdom in disney world is actually capable of holding up to 100,000 people at one given point in time (not that that many tickets would be sold lol).

Okay so why don't we look at the census and determine how many people might actually attend in either NY or FLA.

Based on 2010, the population in New York was 19,378,104 and the people under 18 in 2011 was 22% making the total of teens amount to 4,263,182

Based on 2010, the population in New York was 18,802,690 and the people under 18 in 2011 was 21% making the total of teens amount to 3,948,564

So let's say only 20% local people shows up, thats 852636 for NY and 789713 for FLA, difference of 62,923, translated to a loss of 6,229,377 Euros.

Besides Disney, there's not much to do in FLA, so much more to do in NYC and the surrounding areas.

You're making Florida seem like it's the most boring place in the world. There is PLENTY of things for tourists to do in Florida, given that almost the entire area in Orlando is based off the tourism industry.

And the last time that I checked, minecon didn't sell 852,636 tickets. And you're also basing this number entirely off the assumption that only people from the given local area would attend.

Think this through the next time you post about something else in such a derogatory manner.

Do you think by any chance you can make liteloader compatible with radarbro? You can find the mod here:
