    Hello! First, the map is great, and I've been having a lot of fun so far. However, I've run into a glitch with the White Dragon initiation questline, where after I click on the enchanting table and get the Dragon language (Vorbalaus) the dialogue screen is just stuck on *Continue* *Continue* *Continue* and every time I click that's all it has me say. The first time I ran into this, I restarted Minecraft which fixed it, but for some reason led to every other dialogue afterward to take ages to load. It would take about 2 to 3 minutes just to initiate dialogue and the same amount of time between selecting dialogue choices. So I started a new game but ran into the same problem. Help, please? I can provide screenshots of the *Continue* dialogue death screen. Thanks.


    Honestly, I'm not sure. I really wish I could help you, but at some point I think I had this issue as well, but I didn't ever find a solution, I think I loaded a back up I had.


    You can maybe try making a copy of your world and playing that one instead? See if that fixes it. Sometimes these mods can make the game finicky and weird. Sorry. Glad to hear you enjoy it though.

    Hey np, you asked right as I took my lunch break from work so I decided to check t.


    I did not create any of these mods, so there isn't any java programming on my part. CustomNPCs does have a scripting feature, which I only heavily utilized in the recent Update Aphelion update, so there is a moderate amount of javascript going on with the boss fights and some unique items, the inventory saving feature etc.


    And yep, I'm in college, and I'm working on transitioning my major to CS.

Airdan Luthais is the NPC that stands by a fire in the shape of a plus sign worried that bandits are going to take his stuff from the chest, and if you open the chest, maybe he growls or something. I'm pretty sure I heard a growl. Well, as it happens, an exploding sheep happened to be in the area and it walked into the fire and killed him.

    Now his body lays here next to a bunch of fires created by the exploding sheep. I would like to complete the quest he gave me.

    Go into creative mode, find the NPC wand,right click the air and a list of surrounding npcs will show up. Click his name, and then click reset, and he should be brought back to life.


    Veads (exploding sheep) growl, Airdan wasn't programmed to care if you open his chest.

    the eyes are in display->model->eyes and you turn them off there. the customnpcs config file has an option to disable them being on by default

    The world stored data is then stored inside world.json in worldname/customnpcs/scripting. Those valiea are global and can be called upon by anything

    Well, since I have naturalRegeneration set to false, I think you can set the difficulty to peaceful, that way hostile mobs don't spawn. Docile mobs like sheeps and pigs might spawn, but I guess that's not that big of a deal.


    The only way to stop specific mobs from spawning would be to have commands blocks constantly kill those entities, or install a mod that does that.

    Is there a way to get mods like just a few fish to run properly, the fish don't spawn and I don't know how to enable them?

    The empty rivers and ponds.......need a bit of life.


    That is probably because I have the gamerule doMobSpawning set to false, to prevent zombies creepers and other things spawning where I didn't want them to. All the entities creatures and enemies are from the custom NPCs mod.


    /gamerule doMobSpawning true should work, but that will let regular minecraft mobs spawn in the dark.

    Love the map, but no matter how low I set it, so far everything but the tavern music comes on blaringly loud?

    juke/note volume is at 1% and the tavern music is fine, but then I go across the bridge and bam!!!!!

    It's louder than anything else in the game, and my siamese cat!!!!


    Yep, In the next release I'll turn the volume down.


    It's a minecraft glitch. The playsound command *ignores* the volume slider. Very sorry. It does respect the master volume slider

    I'm a little unsure what you mean.


    If you want to show the map to MCBBS, then by all means go ahead. I would prefer if it is downloaded from my mediafire, but if China has some sort of block or restriction on that site then go ahead and open a download link there.


    As long as you are not making any money from it, and you give credit to my friends and I, you can do what you want with the map. I'd love to see it spread!
