Is there a way to leave the kringle? We built some stuff before we tried /gotokringle and now we want to go back to it. Can anyone help?

I am new to installing mods and am having some trouble getting Mine Wars to work. I have an iMac running OS 10.6.8. I installed Forge successfully using this tutorial: I deleted the META-INF folder. It seems to be working; I can run Minecraft and I see there are 3 mods installed. I have a mods folder in my minecraft folder now. However, when I drag the .zip file I downloaded for the Mine Wars mod into the mods folder and start Minecraft, it just stays frozen on the MOJANG screen. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!

Thanks for the advice. It makes sense that finding good laptops is hard, because I've been having trouble finding one - hence the request for recommendations!

We are capable of building, but we are really looking for the portability of laptops. We have a couple of desktops already, and want to have computers that we can take with us when we travel.

Our family recently started playing Minecraft. The kids are 7 and 4, and we don't play any other big computer games yet. We want to buy a couple of cheap (less than $500) laptops that are able to play Minecraft decently without a lot of lag. Does anybody have any good recommendations?
