So what you're saying is that the card will come pre-loaded?

Basically, the loaded amount depending on much you paid for it.

I know that, but do I have to put money in there once I buy the card?

When you buy it, the money is "in" the card.

    1. Go to a store that sells Visa Gift Cards.
    2. Buy one using your cash.
    3. Use the Visa Card to to buy Minecraft.

posted a message on What is the awesomest way to kill a creeper?
Punching it off of a cliff, of course.

However, the cliff has to be large enough to allow the creeper to ponder its fate and realize it has let down it's ancestors. In that time, the creeper might even figure out that its way of life is an incredibly inefficient way of dealing with predators and continuing the species.

    Quote from hateray

Since that pit was created I left the house a hundred times and returned without anything screwed up. MAYBE, I might of left one of those trapdoors open before I left the house...that's the closest possible explanation I can think of.

I had a similar issue. I built a wooden pillar on a floor that was directly above lava. It was perfectly fine 99% of the time.
However, on two occasions the wood somehow caught on fire.

I think it was glitchy lava/flames.

I've had fire go through walls/blocks when it shouldn't happen, and it would light wood on fire.

    Quote from n8tehgr827

Actually you are quite wrong. It has to be within 1 block over and 4 blocks down of the nearest grass block... There also can't be anything obstructing it, and as the OP mentioned, it was in a pile of gravel and dirt (not grass). Question to the OP: Was the seed newly generated in the snapshot or was it from 1.1?

Yea yea, I get it already. I've been told I'm wrong a few times by now. :biggrin.gif:

posted a message on What types of housing do you prefer?
I usually build a modest-sized house above ground with a bedroom and some storage, maybe even an upper floor. Otherwise, my wheat farms, extra storage, tools, and other stuff are in an underground complex below the house. Then my animal pens are divided around the home itself.

I build near a beach and a mountain (Both are important to me), as long as there enough flat land around for convenience.

    It's quite simple actually.

Grass will grow on dirt blocks where there is a certain light level. If there wasn't lava nearby, then I'm unsure.

posted a message on Why does everyone seem paranoid about Minecraft's official Launch?
    Quote from CycloneX5

Because some people know that releasing an unfinished game is unprofessional.

    ...

    ...

    ...

And THAT, is why some people are paranoid about Minecraft's official launch.

Your post summed up my exact thoughts. I really don't mind if they push back the game release to 2012 if they made the game more complete.
