I think they should either have it so you can only change your name once a month like they do in most games, or have it in other games so you have to pay a small fee such as $5. Xbox does this. For the username banning problems everyone brings up it would be an easy fix. I do believe everyone already has a unique ID and when you get banned from a server it should ban the ID not the username. If not, the IP ban is always a solution around that.
As Scarasyte stated, if it is payed for anywhere from 5-10$ people would not simply change thier name to get out of a ban. If so they are dedicated to get into your server, and may be someone worth having.

2. re-download
3. when you open minecraft again you will see Username, password, enter that. then click options, its above login. Once clicked a mini box will open, click force uptade then start it up.
