What is your favorite/preferred base/building style?
i build eastern style architecture (japanese/chinese), usually i build fancy stuff above the ground and hid all my redstone stuff beneath the ground
What aspect of vanilla gameplay draws you towards SMP?
i'd like to play what minecraft is intended to be played, build big stuff and then look back after months / years and feel proud on what i have achieved
never use mods except for shaders

yes i've joined several realms and servers, but most of them are pretty small, never having more than 10 ppl even on their most crowded times
usually it ends up being me the only one online on the server, since most of them moves on to different interests / games

i play console games like J-RPGs, some gundam games, and i also build gundam plastic models

How did you hear about The Sanctuary SMP community?: I was scrolling through Twitch and found brockTM_. The server looked like a lot of fun.
What is your favorite/preferred base/building style? I like to incorporate my bases into pre-existing things. My home on my realm was built into a ship at the bottom of a lake, with a path leading towards it, then a soul sand/magma block funnel to get into and out of my actual base.
What aspect of vanilla gameplay draws you towards SMP? The simplicity of it. Vanilla Minecraft is a lot easier to understand than modded minecraft, and I've had years to learn. I enjoy multiplayer, so that adds towards my enjoyment.
Do you have any experience with Minecraft communities? I've played on a lot of servers and realms, a lot of them lasting quite a while. I'm used to rules. because I had to enforce them a lot on my own realm.
Outside of Minecraft, what kinds of activities/hobbies do you enjoy? I enjoy doing photography and music. I taught myself how to play piano during a rough period of my life, so i really enjoy music because of it.

Medieval and fantasy style bases, but sometimes i just play it by ear and pull some inspiration from the area i settle.
What aspect of vanilla gameplay draws you towards SMP?
I find vanilla game play to be more enjoyable with a community rather than playing alone, havoing an ecomomy to trade makes the gameplay more relaxing for me, and i also love to see the other builds and projects people create.

Yes, Ive played Minecraft since the beginning and have enjoyed the communities ive been apart of over the years, and ive even managed to make some irl friends because of it.

LARPing and D&D when i have the time, i also like to spin fire (Dragon Staff), but with everything going on i haven't had the chance to practice much. When i get more than a few days from work i like to spend it outside camping and hiking with my pupper

What is your favorite/preferred base/building style? Honestly it's a bit of everything I guess, don't know if I have a preferred style.
What aspect of vanilla gameplay draws you towards SMP? Played on a few SMP worlds over the past 5 or so years and theyve all just slowly died off or Ive stopped playing them and it beats the heck out of singleplayer.

How did you hear about The Sanctuary SMP community?: Found it on the forum. I was searching for a SMP to join.
What is your favorite/preferred base/building style? I prefer modern looking bases. I'm not that great at building, I prefer doing redstone stuff actually, but I try to make everything I build look good to the best of my abilities. I love for my base to be filled with redstone contraptions and have a modern, robust look to it.
What aspect of vanilla gameplay draws you towards SMP? I love vanilla minecraft over modded or servers with plugins, but I don't think the vanilla aspect is what draws me to SMPs. I think it's the fact that these form a better community. SMPs have a certain feel about them that I love. It's all the group activities and events, all the community interactions, such as roleplaying or community builds that make SMPs great.
Do you have any experience with Minecraft communities? Not much, but I would love to try it, get involved and have fun with all of you.

What is your favorite thing to do in Minecraft? Building for sure, large scale, small scale and community projects always breathe life into the game for me, always new things to learn, styles to master and projects to work on.
What is your favorite/preferred base/building style? I prefer to play quite passively, working in the Medieval/Steampunk theme as it works best for the pallet I'm used too. However in past I have also quite enjoyed worked a modern theme, with a focus of large scall projects.
What is your favorite memory you have made in Minecraft? Definitely the friends I have aquired over the 9 years I've been playing, through many communities the relationships you form really last longer than most of them and as cheesy as that sounds its true.
What aspect of vanilla gameplay draws you towards SMP? Being able to push the structual bounderies of the original build style, creating unique buildings and architecture.
