Thank you, but I have not updated forge or edited it in any way, and like I said, Shaders was working fine until yesterday.

    Hi.

I've been playing with Shaders for well over three months now with no errors except for when I first installed them. However, when I go to launch the Shaders version of Minecraft, it won't launch. It loads the mods in Forge, then crashes, showing this message:

Actually, I thought you had a 280x. The 280 should perform a bit better than that but not by a ton. MC is better optimized for Nvidia, and in most benchmarks the 960 beats or is on par with the 280. Not to mention, an i5 is quite a bit better than a 6300.

It's fine, I can live with 30 frames.

You allocated more ram to minecraft as i see from that F3 picture. put it back to the standard that minecraft puts and see your fps you might get more

I returned it to normal and it got worse. Superflat worlds run at 30-35 frames now.

That doesn't sound right... The 280x performs quite a bit better than the 960 and I've been getting up to 70 FPS on SEUS Ultra..

On superflat worlds it runs at 40, which isn't a whole lot more. I will provide some screenshots as soon as.

Edit: Correction: It runs at 50 frames 90% of the time on Superflat worlds, but that's no where near what you're saying it should handle.

    Screenshots have been added.

You are getting way, way, way, WAY, Ripped off! My build isnt even that much, and it can murder that rig at anything!

I don't care right now. I've got the PC and it's not like I'm stuck for money at the moment.

I'm only 14 and my parents were the ones who bought it for me, and as long as they don't know that I'm fine with it :P

I am going to build a better, cheaper build when I'm older; I'm not in the best state to build one at this moment.

Mallowpuffs, SEUS_UltraMotionBlur runs at 30 frames with 8 render distance. Meh.

Ad. 1: Shader mod works better if you're not using a 1+ year old outdated version. Blame Skydaz.

Ad. 2: Don't use Forge 1469+. Should be fixed soon(ish).

    Brilliant, thanks for that!
If I install a Forge version lower than abovementioned, will it work?

    Hi everyone,

My PC crashes every time I go to launch Shaders on 1.7.10. An image of my specs has been attatched to this post. On vanilla, it handles over 120 frames on almost maxed settings (12 render distance).

That error occurs when I manually install shaderpacks and the ShadersModCore file.

Please help me, I know my PC can handle it, I'm sure of it... But these errors just keep cropping up no matter what I try. Am I installing it wrong?

Note: My javaw.exe file refuses to open .jar files, so please don't suggest an installer. I also wouldn't like instructions on how to convert the .jar file into an executable using the command prompt.

    Thanks in advance,

    Spider

I have tried, but every tutorial brings me to a .jar installer, and for some reason my javaw.exe file refuses to open them.

I've tried Skydaz but that didn't work, it doesn't recognise any of my Minecraft Forge versions.

Well, you should be getting even more than that, but better!

I am getting more than that now that I look at it. 120+.

    Quote from Mallowpuffs»

What mods do you have installed when you get that crash?

    Absolutely none.

Forge is installed on version 1.7.10, there's a 1.7.10 ShadersModCore file in Mods, and I've got SEUS-Ultra-MotionBlur in Shaderpacks. That's everything. No more forges, mods, shaderpacks or versions, just that.

    Here's some images.

Not sure about the shaders yet but turn off vsync?

    I'll try that, thanks.

Sorry for the message being repeated on my previous post, I don't know why it did that.

Edit: Yep! Turning off V-Sync gave me 90+ frames!

    Hmph.

I got the PC earlier on today. I launched Minecraft and it handles it on max vanilla settings at 12 render distance on 60 frames... Shouldn't it be a little more?

I tried shaders but I just got this error before I could even start the game:
