hes my only chance of playing the halloween mod its one of the reasons i paid for mc just to find out its outdated )=
The fact that someone (thats you) would purchase a game specifically to play a mod is beyond my comprehension. Mods, unlike official Minecraft content, will come and go. Its the mod developer's decision if he/she would choose to stop working on a mod, and if they do, then... well... they do.
By the way, a halloween mod... in April? I don't know... Seems a little out of season.
I said I use 1.4.7 when I used the 1.4.7 pack.... I know that 1.5 texture packs don't work i'm not dumb enough to try it since I know about the new format for 1.5
When 1.5 is released, be sure to include the original Hopper side texture, from the snapshot they were introduced in, on the WIP pack. (They used the cauldron side texture.)
The fact that you are taking the time to post this question on the internet is a bigger waste of time than Minecraft.
And me replyling to it is an even greater waste of time.
Well, I got the universal version of Forge, and it shows the loading forge boxes, and then I get black screen. What now?
You may have installed Biomes O' Plenty incorrectly or, if you're using any other mods, you may be using a mod that is incompatible with Forge or Biomes O' Plenty. Read the installation instructions.
I just started a server with this mod and noticed something... wierd.. While digging through some caves i came accross a cake and a jukebox ?! It only happened two times for each item, but wtf? Anyone else noticed this ?
Hm. Playing on a server. Have you considered that there are other players who may have placed the blocks? lol
Bugs :
Nether Portals come up as a static blue colour
This may be because on the 1.4 terrain.png, the portals texture is solid blue. All you have to do is remove the portal texture (portal.png, I believe) from your converted pack.
I don't exacly understand the config file... When I've finished configuring do I just save the file and leave it where it is? Or do I put it into the minecraft.jar or a specific folder or what?
Some suggestions for the WIP pack:
Maybe old Item Frame texture?
The wood frame, but without the leather-ish back piece, like in Jeb's earlier screenshots of it.
(Also, the older item sprite for it)
And the older carrot textures, from the snapshots they were introduced in?

Also, I love the restored Koda's Creepers and Spider Family mods!
Keep up the good work.

How can we have a mob drop more than one type of item? And how can we have the mob drop a block instead of an item?

Looks great!
Current texture pack tall grass is definitely too bright.
