I have been looking into building a PC for a bit now, and with my research now know that 90C is insane, I think it might be something with my cooling. Also im using a laptop atm, if I had to guess I think the thermals got affected and are the cause of slow chunk rendering by affecting the gpu. Alright im going to close this thread now good day good sirs and maams goodbye
Yes but I'm not going to record my screen with a phone now, am I? I have some decency lol. And the recording isn't my problem. Why can't anyone understand that my issue is that my fps, recording or not, are absolute rubbish and down the drain!
The first video has the same amount of mods just I don't display fps armor hud or that stuff but judging by the questions you're askin you aren't the kind of person I want answering my question.
I wouldn't know where to post this if not in this section, general discussion probably won't lead the right people to my thread. Alright, so here's my issue. Recently, I have been dealing with poor fps when there are a lot of players or mobs near me in minecraft. This happens in both modded and unmodded minecraft. My computer wasn't always like this, as you may be able to tell below. I would like to know what I somehow did to lower my fps. Ad also, I actaully tried some things to fix the issue, but sadly, to no avail. I have the latest java, reinstalled minecraft, factory restarted my entire computer (with a backup, of course), updated my graphics drivers, and here are my specs:
Operating System
Windows 8.1 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i7 4700MQ @ 2.40GHz 96 °C
Haswell 22nm Technology
After seeing the skin from http://minecraft.tools/en/skin.php?skin=fryguy8 , you can clearly see that the image you provided is different from the one you actually are using. This is good. It means we found the solution! I would say upload the skin again, but this time through minecraft.net
This is in 1.8.8 ||| no difference between modded or unmodded ||| doesn't have anything to do with the resource pack ||| I already have optifine ||| I don't need trash talk about my specs. They worked fine for me in the past, I want them to do the same for me now.
My minecraft used to run smoothly, getting a constant 80 fps with about 20 mobs around and 7 render distance, and about 1-2 months ago my fps started dropping to only about 20-40. It also happened suddenly, there was no warning, it just gave me crappy fps one day and my computer hasn't recovered since. I really hope there is a solution.

He is saying that you don't have a dedicated graphics card and shouldn't expect to get a lot of fps. Everything you describe can be referred back to that weak graphics chip you got.
I disagree with that statement. My fps used to be fine and in single player worlds my fps are fine so long as I don't spawn a lot of mobs (this is not really an issue though) and my fps are even fine in CS:GO, where they rest at a consistent 80.

Looks like you have some kind of Vsync enabled, your frames never go over 30. Turn that off and observer results.
Yeah, but that's only when recording ;P when not recording, my fps fluctuate from 30-120 depending on how many entities are in my view.
But thanks for taking the time to actually look for this!

The exact same thing happens without mods, as I have specified already.

(performs the same when everything is cooler, I have been using my laptop all day and it is 90°C atm, but it performs the same as when it is at 60°C)
NONE OF THE MODS I USE CHANGE ANYTHING WITH MY FPS, IF ANYTHING THEY INCREASE BECAUSE OF OPTIFINE!

you might have your hat layer turned off. go to options > skin customization > and make sure everything is on.
if that doesn't work, give me the image you uploaded into minecraft.net and I could try to help you.

I really appreciate your help!
1. I updated them yesterday, and didn't notice anything fixed
2. I don't know what you mean by that sorry but I'm using the same client and everything- 1.8.8
3. Yes
4. 4GB of ram (my computer has 16 available)
Sadly, the issue still persists :/
