It started out as a small try-out with some redstone, but I soon realised I wanted more.
There are absolutely no instructions given. Just hints every level.
By playing you learn new things.
Map consists of different "Chambers"
And a custom resourcepack will be included.
This is an updated version. The story may get longer in the future. Till now, enjoy.
It is Portal, Q.U.B.E., AntiChamber, and Community inspired.
What more to say? idk
So I was messing around with the autojump feature and found some interesting things. I built a map to showcase that with autojump, you hardly need a jump key anymore!
DON'T UNDERESTIMATE! It consists of 7 levels of increasingly frustrating parkour jumping puzzles. But wait, you aren't allowed to jump using the spacebar...
Be the first to play this special map and discover the frustration and quirks of the auto-jump feature in Minecraft!
I have been searching the FTB wiki but I can't find anything on how to make "grape juice" fermentable?
- edit:
I just got confused by a bug: when moving something in a slot in any of the cellar mod's blocks, on a server at least, it doesn't show up in the slot, and seems to stay in the inventory, until you close and reopen that ui.
Always felt like leaves are too blocky? Wished for more thicc foliage? Don't want to get kicked off a server for modding the game?
Look no further!
As an extension to my own pack, I have created a resourcepack that makes sure those leaves are thiccer than ever, and look pretty in the process.
Just put this resourcepack in the resourcepacks folder, and in the game move it below any pack that you are using, and the logs will magically become more rounded!
Ask your pack creator to include a assets/minecraft/texture/tf/*_leaves_bushy.png for every treetype in the resourcepack for an even better look! This should work for most versions of minecraft that support custom models, I have tested on 1.12.2 and up.

I loved this pack, so I updated it a while. Then huntingdog took over, and I kinda lost interest in the game a while, but kept updating my own pack. Glad to see ReallyLogicalBrick took over for a while too, and now luna_panshiel also has done some work. It's a great pack, and in a way its funny how it is being updated in waves.
It's been dead for awhile now. I am considering giving it another update, but on the other hand I don't have time because of uni, I barely have time to play the game.
Good try, I do support this. Sad thing is, the support for random textures is gone, which was a big part of the Greatwood charm. Everything is now just one texture.
Tl;dr: I wish OP would revive the link, I would like to try updating it again some time. My old version is so out-dated that it would be a lot of work to update everything.
Okay I fixed the sound issue, by not allowing java any internet acces. But I'd rather have it just not connect so the minecraft servers, so I can still play on a LAN server. Any idea's how to do this without permanently blocking it in firewall? (So i can keep it portable)
There's not many of us old schoolers left.
I have an installation of the original beta 1.8.1, and it works flawlessly... except for the sound. I do have the correct sounds in my .minecraft/resources/ but nothing happens. I'm thinking that maybe I can fix this with a sound mod, and just use the default sounds to make a soundpack and then play with this soundpack. PM me for more!
Pointing minecraft to an older version of java worked and fixed the sound... except for the explosion sound. As soon as the TNT goes off, the game freezes.
Any insights?
Mind giving some more details of whats wrong with the textures? If it's the darkness: That is not a texture issue, but a lighting issue. "Smooth lighting" has never really worked.

This map is NOW UPDATED FOR 1.15.2, not sure if it works in other versions too.
Thank you ssoooooo much. I didn't want to install GIMP at first and do all that, but after a couple of hours screwing it all up, I decided to follow your guide. I made all my images into one tall .png and downloaded GIMP. And it all worked like a charm. Cheers!!!
Thanks for the feedback. I believe I did have v-sync on, so I'll uncheck that setting and redo the experiment. But, if it really locks the fps at your monitor's refresh rate (59hz in my case), how would you explain the sudden 120 at 1.5.2?
According to Mojang's bugtracker, there was a bug recorded as far back as 2012 with 1.5.2 and V-Sync, specifically with the new launcher. V-Sync was added during 1.4, which is why 1.4 is locked to 60. If the bug did happen with your testing, that would explain why 1.5.2 is the only odd one out. Strange that 1.2.5 through to 1.4.5, and 1.5.2 all are capped at 120 FPS. Might I ask did you cap it to 120 FPS or is that just coincidence?
Generally when performing benchmarks, any limiting factors must be disabled, so that means unlock framerate, disable V-Sync both in-game and, if it has V-Sync embedded, in your graphics driver.
what results do you get turning v-sync off in the later versions when the setting was added?
So I just checked, and V-sync was already off during my tests
Thanks for the feedback anyway. I must say that while loading the world the fps did fluctuate, sometimes to about 63, which would have been limited if v-sync was on...
My guess is that Mojang added some under-the-hood tweaks to keep the framerate at 60 even if a GPU is a bit older.
These results are invalid. Results that show 60 FPS consistently in that fashion is almost certainly due to V-Sync being enabled or your FPS being capped to 60 (either or).
Disable V-Sync and resubmit new results, then see the difference. Also make sure chunk updates are as close to 0 as possible, and preferably use the exact same seed in every version, go to the exact same location in every version, and make sure the settings are the exact same every version. Chunk updates along with deviations in seed, location and settings can drastically alter your FPS.

Still no resolution, I hope the devs will fix this issue soon. I'm glad I found this thread so I can at least view my messages.

This is so annoying. I had a texture figured out working with 1.7, and now they changed it again. RIP redstone dust overlays.
