posted a message on Door and Trapdoor Filters *Solved*
That's a lot of trapdoors, I have no idea what "CTM" is, but I think making a "filter" to rotate/open/close trap doors seems like a waste of energy. You could get bukkit and use world edit, select the area with all the trapdoors, and say //replace 96 96:#,96:#
(the first 96:# being the damage value for the direction you want the trapdoors to face [I don't know the damage values of the directions] and the second one being the open damage value of the same direction)
That would do the same thing, I think...

Use both, some people don't like one or the other. :)
Also, mediafire is (or was) blocked in some countries, so having an alternative is good.

Interesting, I always had trouble with usernames. Until this one, but I'm not going to get into explaining it.
Reading that list is funny, "e", haha. Stupid swear filter killed what I was trying to say. Third name in the large list. :|
I would feel a bit better downloading it if there was some virus scans though.
    Jotti's
    VirusTotal
    Anubis
Not saying you HAVE to or anything, but low post count and all, it would make people such as me feel safer downloading this. :)

Server side occlusion culling. It doesn't send players the chunks they can't see. Saves on bandwidth, too.

Wouldn't that make a noticeable delay of blocks appearing while digging for people with slower internet? Maybe the bandwidth being saved from not sending the rest of the unseen blocks would make up for that, but from what I know from digging in current minecraft while using bad internet, it's really noticeable. If that happens and the server isn't sending that information until you can see it, it would be like a big hole until it loads.
Maybe I am over thinking it and it would be completely fine.

Also, on the saving bandwidth thing, I remember when I had a server up for just me and my friend it used something like 12 or 16 GB in a week. That was back in early beta, so I don't really remember the exact number...

First of all, I'm not going through 22 pages of comments to see if this argument has already been made.

    Onto the argument!
This wouldn't get rid of x-raying, it would simply make it only work within the loaded-sphere around you. I assume this would still have render distances, as I and many others would hate that all of a sudden they can't see past xx blocks, so x-rayers could simply use a very large loading sphere to see the ores.

posted a message on How would I make my own authserver?
So they can log into minecraft with only registering to your website? I'm sure that is against the TOS.
If you mean they would have to log in two times, that would just be annoying. :/

Does it just say "World 1", "World 2", etc., or does it show the name of the world? (What you named it when making it.)
Also, it could just be me but 1 post, rather plain looking program... I would feel better if it had a virus scan or something... :|

posted a message on All "media buttons" stopped working. AGAIN. Windows 7
This is the third time this has happened to me, and this time it's the last straw because none of the "fixes" i did the other two times work this time.
To be a bit more clear on what I mean by "media buttons" is next/prev. track, play/pause, vol up/down, mute, and stop. NO, it is nothing to do with my keyboard, because even sending the key(s) through a mouse or program doesn't work.
I have googled this to DEATH, and I can't even find one case of ANYONE ELSE having this problem.

It may be useful to know how I fixed it the other two times.
First time, I honestly don't know what I did. One day as randomly as it stopped working, it started working again.
(I reinstalled Windows at some point between the first time this happened and the second time.)
Second time, I uninstalled Windows Media Player and restarted about 4 times and then remembered to check if it worked and it did.
This time, Windows Media Player is still gone.

It has nothing to do with the player I am using, because it has nothing to do with it. (Mute and volume up/down don't work even if it is not open.

    Edit
    I forgot some things...
sfc /scannow didn't solve anything. (Random result pretty much unrelated on google suggested this, I figured I may as well try it anyway.)
The drivers are up to date on everything.
I have tried doing a "clean boot" and had no results.
I have tried booting in safe mode.
I have tried a system restore to before the problem started.

posted a message on [1.4.7] (Mod Request) Multiplayer Health Bar.
Grief client makers have looked for every way, the server simply doesn't send other peoples health information to other players. It can't be done other than estimating, and that would turn out rather bad in most cases.

posted a message on Why is Minecraft so overrated?
Minecraft is an indie game, as indie means it was made by an INDEpendent person/group of people. It was made by Notch, then it was continued to be developed on by just a few other people. It wasn't made by some big company like typical games.

You act like Minecraft is being claimed as the only game that you can do whatever you want in. :\

@... uh... the guy who said Minecraft isn't an adult-y game: Minecraft XBox360 is rated E10 or something, and it's basically the exact same game as PC Minecraft.

I agree Minecraft could use some better physics, but it's fine with or without them.

To be honest, it probably is one of the best indie games ever. Can you name one more popular? As popular? Close to being as popular? That isn't Garry's Mod, you've already used that one enough. >_<
