Is it possible that we could get support for the BattleGear Mod? There aren't too many new textures, but it'd be great if they could blend in with the game.

I'm not very good at drawing on a computer, but I was inspired by Chewtoons' speedart on CaptainSparklez's channel and wanted to copy it, but then decided to change it up a bit. How is it for a first try?

Sorry to rain on your parade, but from what I see in your video, you're getting 5 frames, and you took 30 seconds to just make the world. You won't get anywhere with this unless you're a VERY good commentator. Sorry, but I make some kickass videos and I barely get anything back.

posted a message on Hardcore Apocalypse Let's Play
My server admin put up a new server to challenge the regulars of the main server, which is an Apocalyptic world, in Hardcore mode. It is void of all tree leaves and grass, and over time you build up rads, which is radiation, which degrades armor over time, somewhat similar to the Fallout series. I recorded my attempt for my Youtube subs and I thought some of you may be interested, so if you happen to stick around, I hope you enjoy.

posted a message on Wolves need an update!
Most of us have seen wolves at one point in the game, and some want to try and tame them straight away for some personal protection against the dangers of the world. It's a good choice, but while you're leading these guys around while mining or making risky jumps, they tend to bump you, get in your way, and just be plain annoying. This to me defeats the purpose of getting them in the first place, since they are doing more harm than good at times. And frequently, while you're doing something, wherever it may be, your wolves tend to hurt themselves without you even moving. Now when I look at wolves, it's like seeing an octopus: it's almost like it's not there.

I suggest that the Testificates get a break and we see wolves get some AI updates. They don't need to make you a God, they should just be less of an annoyance.

What do I think should change?
    - They shouldn't bump into you
    - They should stop moving when you do
    - They should target mobs locked onto you
    - They should detect ledges and not fall down where it would hurt them (AI update in a nutshell)

EDIT: Not worth it anymore...no one ever talks, ect.

To sync the audio, hit the menu button very very hard so you hear it in the voice recording. Sync that to the time when the menu opens in game.

That's how I did it in my LP a while ago. :smile.gif:

Yeah, I have tried that...but I'm very prone to forgetting things very fast so that won't work. I'm hoping I can have a recorder that I'm able to bind it's recording to my FRAPS key so that it will got at the exact same time.

posted a message on Need Help with Audio-related things
I currently use Audacity to record my voice while making YouTube gameplay commentaries, so that I can edit parts I don't want out, and to make my voice higher/lower depending on what's going on. The problem? It's not in sync with the video. I try to line it up as best as I can, but it never comes out to be the way I want it. I hate going through the entire video to make sure the audio makes sense through the video, but in turn to get almost nobody watching it, I'm basically wasting my time.

In summary, I need to be able to record my computer's sounds in FRAPS, and then have another file solely for my commentary, which would be in sync since they would start at the same time. Audacity (from what I know) will not start recording when I hit the record button for FRAPS ( which is * for me) which could be an easy solution if I could find some way to do it.

This post must be very confusing, but if you have any questions on what I've said, please post below and I should be able to help. Thanks for your time.

posted a message on Year-Old YT Channel w/ <100 subscribers
Hi, thanks for taking a moment to look at this post. First, I want to just say that I'm not spamming everyone by posting this. All I want to do is show people what my channel has, since I've been uploading daily videos for months (I have 140+ uploads) and I'm still awaiting the 100 subscriber milestone. I don't like advertising everywhere, but I feel that if I don't start spreading the word myself, nothing will change. I've spent at least $70 into YouTube simply to correct problems with my videos, and people don't seem to appreciate it as much as I hoped. I've had lots of people tell me "Great channel!", but half of them don't subscribe and/or mean what they said. I've spent many, many hours into editing videos, making sure they go up at night, and fixing problems, just so my little fanbase will have a higher quality video. At this point, I feel that my channel is top-quality stuff, but my sub-count says otherwise. I hope you'll take a second to look at my content, I've worked a long time to build my channel. Thanks for reading this, I hope you'll be my next supporter. If you have any criticism at all, please post it below and I'll see to fixing the problem; I read ALL my comments. My Channel

To be frank, your current graphics card sucks. Don't expect to be maxing games with decent FPS on it.

No surprise, I've heard it from many people.

Get a new graphics card. For Skyrim the 6770 or 6850 should do fine.

I don't see that happening anytime soon, but thanks for letting me know :smile.gif:

Huge bottleneck in the Graphics Card. Maybe on low settings. Even then you're going to get low fps.

So you're saying like 10 frames?

My computer is relatively good, I can run most of the games I've played at max frames on medium to high settings, but I know Skyrim is a new story. I'd get it for Xbox, but since I've gotten a great computer, I really lost interest in console gaming. And also CanIRunIt just doesn't seem to make me confident enough, so hopefully I can get some clarification on how I'd do here.

    Specs:

    OS: Windows 7
Processor: Intel Core i5-2320 CPU @ 3.00 GHz 3.00 GHz
Video Card: AMD Radeon 6450 HD Graphics
    RAM: 6.00 GB
    Memory: 500 GB

If you need to know anything else, please post it. Thanks for your time!
