Posting this for a third time.

Translocators bug: If you rebind the key using C as default(crafting grid) to something else, the rebind works. HOWEVER, C cannot be used for vanilla bindings (such as open inventory) even after rebinding the key.

This is specific to 1.7.10 version.

    Translocators Bug - Critical

    http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1279956-chickenbones-mods?comment=20878

As mentioned before, the default binding for Translocators to open the crafting grid is C, and is changeable in the config. However, even if you change it to something other than C, you cannot use C for any default bindings (such as open inventory). I believe this is actually due to the "use C again" on the crafting grid to craft with (i.e. the second part of the feature) not being changed with the keybind change.

posted a message on Private FTB Unleashed server looking for players
I am looking for more people to play on my server. It's currently just me and a few friends. We are working together and living together, but you don't have to if you don't want to.

My "server" is my local machine, but it's 24/7 online, and more powerful than most dedicated servers out there.

I also have my own Ventrilo server which everyone uses to chat, even those without mics (they listen and just type ingame). To get the IP to the server, you do need to, at the very least, join Ventrilo (info below).

I'd rather not require "rules", but the general concept is PVE. You can PVP if both sides agree, but don't steal/grief/be a douche/etc.

Beyond that, it's a very smooth running FTB Unleashed server. I have enabled (and updated) Biomes O Plenty, so you will need to as well, and I can walk you through this on Ventrilo.

If you're interested, the Ventrilo information is hostname: vent.xerati.net port:4283, no other settings.

I have no plans to check this page, or my PMs. I'll be too busy playing FTB :P

posted a message on Looking for players seeking friendly vanilla cooperative survival gameplay
After recently watching HermitCraft 2.0 videos, I realized that I would love to play with others like that. So, after finding some people, and trying it out, it seems to be going rather well...

What I'm offering is a friendly place to play legit vanilla survival, in a non-competitive way(except perhaps for builds). The server is 24/7, lag free, blah blah.

It is currently not whitelisted, as I'm leaving it open for now. However, I will not be posting the IP anywhere until "we've" had a talk.

The map is less than a week old (as of the 25th of July). We have a community 'town center' thing going on, as well as our own respective houses/mansions/bases/castles. There are currently less than 10 active players (which I hope to increase), and anywhere from 0 to 4 or 5 on at once(which I hope to also increase).

If you're interested, join my ventrilo server (info below). I don't care to have 'applications' on here, simply because I don't feel like checking someone out through a simple forum post. I'll conduct interviews via ventrilo. You don't need a mic, as it has a built in chat system. Simply connect, and join my channel (double click). We can then discuss what you're looking for, and what exactly I'm looking for, in terms of community growth.

Beyond that, feel free to drop a post here as well, though don't expect 'quick turn around' on it.

    Ventrilo information:
    hostname: vent.xerati.net
    port: 4283

posted a message on Looking to start a new peaceful server (pvp changes in the future)
I'm trying to start a friendly community to just play minecraft with (vanilla, whitelisted). As for the PVP aspect, that could be a side thing (enabled but not required?). My specs destroy most dedicated servers ;) . At this time, it's open but I plan to whitelist it as there becomes a community. I'd rather not have to 'admin' it if that makes sense.

All that being said, I could host it anyway. I can have multiple servers running on my PC no problem. I just set up this new map like 20-30 mins ago, and I'm looking for people looking for a vanilla minecraft non-pvp non-grief community play (like HermitCraft, specifically, is what I'm going for). PVP is enabled, for those that want to mess around of course.

Is this along the lines of what you want, or at least what you could do with? Or are you looking for like a creative world to prepare a PVP map in?

I plan to keep this world as just strictly whitelisted small community PVE vanilla gameplay. I should note, this is based in Washington, USA.

PM me if you want the IP

EDIT: so I just re-read it to a friend of mine, and it looks like you have a premade map that you're wanting to expand on for PVP gameplay later? If that's the case, I may not be what you're looking for... The only thing I could say is I'd do it if you guys used my ventrilo server to communicate (I don't like Skype) and I'm always on it (always...like always).

Ahh, yeah. I used to own/run one awhile back, and it was pretty big, but I couldn't afford it (was paying entirely by myself, $226 a month). It was an awesome place, but alas, it came to an end.

Also, I sent you a PM

Yeah, a couple of the responses in here look great, but too distant... I should add in that I have a private ventrilo server (for nearly 8 years now) that can also be used for our little group. My only caveat would be that I don't want to go the route of plugins, and would rather stick directly to vanilla, and just manage the users to weed out the bad ones.

In any case, I can set something up until we find something good? I'll send a PM

I'm also looking for the exact same thing... However, I may also be able to provide such a thing if there are enough people interested. Currently, I run a local server on my pc (always on, more 'power' than any server you'll find, but I only have a 6mbps upload). This works fine for the small number of friends that play (~3-5 friends play, but the server is empty most of the day). As it stands, I want to play more, but it's boring by myself. I can set up a whitelisted server for likeminded people. Apart from networking, this would never lag. Thoughts?

Edit: I would just go ahead with it, but I hate to advertise and manage a page, so if you wanted to run/admin it, that'd be even better ;P

Basically, I'm wanting a very fast processor, and enough ram to have 32gb dedicated to the server, and at least 20+ for a RAMDISK to hold the mapfile itself. Otherwise, a harddrive setup/raid that is fast enough to be worthwhile.I wouldn't need a control panel for anything. What are your prices for specs?

If it's a dedicated server, I'd just be setting up MySQL on it myself, wouldn't I?

I pay about $250 a month for Xeon proc (forget which), 32gb ram, 100mbps unmetered. Is it unmetered with you?

Got any 64gb servers? And price range? And what's the bandwidth speed/limit? Link to a site?

posted a message on I know what LAN is... I know I'm crazy, but...
A "lan" server, in terms of minecraft, is nothing more than just a minecraft server. It's not locked to lan networks, as long as network routing is in place, it'll work.

I can't tell if you're confirm the issue or saying that it's just me...

Also, it never had anything remotely like this in 1.2.5 with a ton of plugins, and it happens in 1.3.1 vanilla and 1.3.1 bukkit dev. It's 100% specific to 1.3.1, and there is nothing special about my setup that would cause it to lag as such.

What type of specifications/dedicated servers are you hosting/running?
