    is it possible to turn minecraft to train simulator with full features of train simulator? :P

    I would suggest you not to go to Traincraft for that, lol. But from what I am aware of Blue intents to add some features that Train Simulator has to TC/TiM.

    Forrealistic train handling/gameplay etc you should look at TiM/ZnD and size wise for RoW. From my understanding Naiten is trying to add more realism to RoW aswell, so these are your best bets

    I love that it "looks better than the American diesels..." despite the fact they were built by EMD in the States...

    Anyway, I honestly would love to see some more British traction in the mod and a Class 66 would definitely make up for the lack of the latter. Notion seconded!

    Really... Did you not get what I mean or did you just feel the need to tell that? I obviously ment the diesels like the SD40/SD70/GP38 etc etc that are in use in the US... Where it is build is not relevant, where they run however is...

    @lachie1770

    No one minds your opinion, neither got anyone offended. It was more like you sounded like you spoke for them, as in "my opinion is the other opinion" kind of way.

    But let's not turn it into the topic it's going now, I won't reply any further.

    Pretty sure they have enough requests as it is Just saw how many, and there are heaps, So your gonna have to wait a while before that ever happens im afraid, Tho I don't think they would add such a boring engine, I just searched it up and its pretty much a moving box... Im sorry but that is a pretty boring looking train. (My opinion at least)

    That you find it boring doesn't mean "they" or whoever wants to model it thinks it boring... You act like you know every single thing, if this was my mod I would have told you to shut up ages ago... Because that "moving box" has more to it than some of the current trains in TC, and in my opinion looks a lot better than the American diesels, now, there we have it? A clash of opinions. Also the class 66 is one of the strongest british Engines there is, so it might be worth it to put in the mod, but idk and idc because I don't model them.

    @MinecartCrafter

    Traincraft is already narrow gauge... Unless you want half a block wide tracks and trains. So there is no point in making narrow gauge for traincraft. Unless you want narrow gauge trains for TC, in that case I just suggest to scale up the narrow gauge locomotives to match standard gauge.

    You might mean Rails of War, since they are working on narrow gauge.

    You sure they don't mean the ICE 3? The older velaro units there are still in service, iirc.

    No, I mean the real IC3. Especially since Amerem is using the nose I made for the IC3 :P

    There are several trains in planning Im one of the artists now =P the dutch IC3 was the train. I plan on adding the American Big boy at some point but running a server hobbies and modding take up a lot of time lol.

    The IC3 is Danish... In the Netherlands we don't even have anything that looks close to the IC3...

    Wait, the Railcraft guy is on this too? Or did you mean RoW?

    He most likely ment RoW, since he never talks about RC + RC is the same scale and no where near feature set.
    + I he told the story with RoW multiple times as he uses it as his prime example :D

    The Track Builder Car went over a sand cave , as soon as it disturbed 1 sand block the cave collapsed and TBC fell in . Not really a bug . If the player was standing in such an area and broke a sand block , the player would fall into the cave . Version 1.7.10 has many vanilla minecart bugs that are still not fixed . Forge inherits these bugs. Looking in the Minecraft Bug tracker site , search 1.7.10 minecart bugs and you can find reasons for Traincraft bugs .

    No, it's a bug. You probably didn't read his full message. "And continues to work" it shouldn't continue digging and building tracks after it fell... it should either stop or break...

    Well, keep in mind that EVERY track is an entity, so you basically have one entity every 4m or so... This is something that is not the case with a normal mod. At the mod I'm working on with some people we also have this problem of every track being an entity, if this would not be the case your trains wouldn't even run properly. 20 FPS with modded MC + Shaders is also really decent, especially since shaders are very GPU and CPU demanding.

    But yeah, if you don't run shaders it will run fine without any issues, or upgrade to a better GPU ^^

    Specs:

    Intel Core i7 4790K

    NVidia Geforce GTX 960 (Gigabyte G1 Gaming Version with 4GB VRAM)

    8 GB RAM

    I don't think it should be bottlenecking or throttling, I checked the temps as well, they're ok.

    It's just performance heavy, the tracks. Don't try playing modded with shaders anyways... Only if you would have some big power like a 1070-1080 I would try playing modded with MC, but in the meanwhile, just enjoy it without shaders ^^.

    I actually ment the "21% of the players" thing... Because the amount of games sold is from a solid source, but I seem to find it hard to believe that those 21% is under 11 is incorrect. And well, most kids have trouble with installing mods, maybe your kids don't, but I had to help my neighbors kid to install some mods and he's 10, he didn't understand how to install them and I'm sure most of those kids don't. So yeah... That's basically why I responded. Have a good day sir ^^

    P.s. If you want the actual radio mod which is the origin of the jukebox card, search for dragons radio mod. It has buttons to scroll between channels Aswell as save specific channels to your radio.

    Thanks again I figured it out . I haven't written any computer code in many years , not my day job , but I have been able to follow whats going on in the source . I'm not trying to be condescending here , but kids 5 years old are going to be using the mod . Young Kids are not going to figure this out , then they will loose interest in playing with the trancraft mod . That's why I suggested the change in the GUIjukebox.java source .

    https://minecraft.net/en/stats/ after searching around the net I got some statistics of age demographics , about 21 percent of those players are 11 years and younger . The release of the education version of minecraft will target Jr and Sr Kindergarten , grades 1 - 5 .

    Do you really think those kids know how to install mods? And how do you even know those demographs are correct? It could just aswell be a "stoopid", (one that doesn't make sense) study thing... Or a survey filled in by lots of trolls...

    Having used the radio mod for a long time... You ARE NOT able to stream the music off your desktop. It needs to be an ACTUAL m3u link from an internet stream. So no, saving to your desktop never works.

    Updating Forge is never a problem... It literally says your minimum Forge version, so it shouldn't be hard to know what to do ^^. But from what I've heard they're working on making it, recommended Forge compatible . As of now it's only the latest ^^
