I am working on V1.1 at the moment, but sadly I am hitting a snag trying to add something A LOT of people want so it may take a little longer than expected. I really wanted to have it out when for when I hit 1k, but you guys hit it so quickly. A huge thank you to all of you and especially the big guys that did mod reviews, I appreciate everyone who covered the mod so don't get me wrong you guys are all so amazing...have I said you guys are amazing yet.
Hopefully I can get this update out soon, but it may take a little longer than expected. I am however reworking a few things about the mod and how it works. One quick spoiler is that I've removed the creeper egg shell because at this point in the rework I've re-drawn up all of my plans and I've stumbled across the solution that I no longer need it.
So thanks again guys, and I hope I can make you even happier with everything I plan on adding in the future.
I'm sorry you feel that way, but I have to respectfully decline your offer to change the name of my mod that I've been working on for 3 years. The way you perceive this mod was the way it was intended to be perceived, but the female creeper was intended to be the opposite of the male creeper and because females are normally the ones who lay eggs or give birth it was only right to name them as such.
Once again I do apologize, but I still hope you enjoy the mod either way. Thanks for your feedback however any and all is always welcome.
After some thorough testing I've come to the conclusion that this mod does in fact work on 1.7.2. I didn't mark it as such sooner because I originally started the last process of dev or 1.7.4 and was unsure if it was backwards compatible, but I'm now certain it is. So please enjoy!
I'm so happy to see how many people enjoy this mod, I was afraid that after having been trying to get it up and functional again after 3 years it would lose it's relevance. You guy's are amazing and Dan especially for getting this mod out there. I have a ton of plans for this mod, and I'm hoping I can get something going soon so I can get better textures for the items because I know I'm not the best when it comes to art. From what I can tell that mod hasn't been updated since 1.5.2, and even if it has the only thing I could see me doing would be just making it so those creepers don't see you while wearing the armor. Although because they have their own AI I'm not sure how simple that would be.

Female Creeper
The Female Creeper is a Passive mob, the idea behind this is that she might still be a creeper, but this one can hug you without blowing up in your face. When the Female Creeper was first discovered, everyone was afraid they thought it was the same as their male counter-parts, but they were wrong. Although if you go as far as to abuse these helpless creatures they will not fight back, because they do not possess the ability to explode that their male-counterparts do, some believe the part it is missing is the 'Gun Powder Gland' although this is not the technical term for it. When these Creepers are killed mercilessly by you they will drop 'Female Creeper Skin'.
THE BABY CREEPER
Isn't he just the cutest thing you ever did saw? I bet he be the best thing you ever did see explode too? Okay enough of the weird southern accent typing...these guys were requested more times than I can remember both during the last release as well as the current one and now they're finally here. These guys aren't just cute looking they also have the cutest little explosions you'll ever see. I hope you enjoy playing with these little guys!
The Creeper Eggs & Empty Creeper Eggs
The 'Female Creepers' will sometime lay 'Creeper Eggs' while they are out and about, these eggs can be used to hatch little baby creepers. Sadly do to the some unforeseen reasons the eggs will be empty, these empty creeper eggs are very interesting and can do some great things when you throw a little gun powder in them. Albeit just because you can stuff some gun powder in these empty creeper eggs, it doesn't mean you should...okay actually it does so have at it!
The Mysterious Creeper Eggs
This egg is a very curious specimen, you create it by combining gun powder and an empty creeper egg. If you, for some reason, want to stuff some gun powder in these creeper-less eggs then go right ahead I won't stop you. That being said this 'Mysterious Creeper Egg' could do anything for all I know, I've not tested this specimen...no I'm not scared I just don't wanna die!

Boiled Creeper Egg
If you feel like cooking an egg that has a normal baby creeper that still explodes, but still looks cute anyway then go right ahead. Albeit this egg will not taste as good do to the small amount of gun powder in it combined with the fact that you will always know your eating a baby creeper so this only restores 1.5 hunger. This means that if you don't want to eat unborn baby female creepers this is a "great" alternative.
Boiled Female Creeper Egg
The 'Boiled Creeper Egg' restores 2 hunger, and can be obtained by cooking a 'Creeper Egg'. If you start to feel guilty that may be because you are basically eating an unborn baby creeper, but hey it's the circle of life and YOU need to live!
Creeper Egg Soup
'Creeper Egg Soup' restores 4 hunger, and is obtained by putting a bowl in the bottom middle row, a "Creeper Egg' in the second middle row, and a 'Boiled Creeper Egg' in the top middle row.

So you wanna be a creeper? Well you can get pretty close with this fabulous new armor! While wearing this armor normal creepers will show no interest toward you unless you smack them in the face or put the armor on in front of them, because we all know creepers aren't stupid. Also while wearing this armor 'Female Creepers' will follow you around because you look so sexy...so enjoy that.

Okay maybe a little because you have to get rid of the creeper following you before you take off the outfit otherwise you will have a/some/many exploding creeper(s) in your face. So maybe these aren't the best benefits ever, but hey it's better than nothing.

I have recently been advised that I should at least try to post this on the MC Forum if anything to just let it be somewhere else, which is something I was very reluctant to do for a long time, but after having a great conversation with some wonderful people at PlayOnCon I have decided to do the very things I have put off for so long. So I hope you enjoy what you see and love what you don't.
Okay! Okay! Okay People! I've updated it to 1.4.5 sadly though I CANNOT update the OptiFine version, and HAVE NOT been able to since 1.3.2 I do believe. That is the main reason I have not updated the mod AT ALL. I use OptiFine on a regular bases, and if I cannot use the mod I found no reason to keep it up to date, so you better be glad I got bored ;P. I apologize again for the OptiFine Problem, and I have contacted the maker of OptiFine to see if we can get this problem resolved.
This is Why I Stopped making Minecraft Mods. Everytime I release something they come out with something that Breaks it. There is NO REASON this recent patch should of broke this mod. I am updating though, because I use this regularly. Sorry for my Rant, just praying for the Mod API Soon. Hopefully it does what they are saying it will do, but it's Mojang so you never know.
You should edit this, and make possible to sprint while you swim or fly. Great mod btw
Honestly I added a piece of code to Prevent that, Because 1, when you fly you either go faster or the same speed as when you sprint, and 2, I was trying to leave it as much like vanilla as possible, I only added a key modifier.
