How can you tell if a laptop has the feature that does the crossfire thing?

If it has a dedicated card hybrid crossfire supports with the llano apu the 66xx and below.

So you're saying the A6-3420M is the same as A8-3510MX?

No the A6 and A8 share the same CPU core but there GPU core is faster in the A8. But the lenovo laptop I linked has a dedicated graphics card that runs in crossfire with the GPU on the APU.

This is $50 cheaper with a better APU: http://www.walmart.c...#Specifications

Nope the A8 has the same CPU as the A6 and mine has a dedicated graphics card with 1GB of VRAM running in crossfire with the APU.

You would need to convert to a different more compress format if your video editing your not going to upload an AVI file to youtube.

Uhh... I play Bf3 and Skyrim on the xbox. Why would I need a video converter?

I am saying they are a lot better with more features on the PC.

For larger games likes Battlefield and Skyrim I use my Xbox 360. My laptop only needs to run smaller games. APB Reloaded, Minecraft, TF2 and some other games available on Steam are all it will be handling. Along with some video editing. I'm going to have to go with the Lenevo that Xaanos recommended.

Bf3 potential is unlocked on the PC same with Skyrim with modding. Make sure you use a GPU accelerated video converter.

Here's another laptop with a better CPU and a good graphics card, same price point too: http://www.tigerdire...jXCuDnVp5I0ssBA

If he never gets into Bf3 or anything like that for photoshop that would be better and just as good for MC and TF2

I'm gonna have to go with Xaanos sorry. Hes been right before and his is 200 dollars less. The reviews are also good and i'm npot relying on a coupon. Can you find any benchmarks Xaanos?

Nope a laptop running hyrbid crossfire is pretty rare. It will run all the games you listed just fine.

Only if I had posted the benchmarks days ago.
    O wait I did.

Also wolf forget CUDA Nvidia complete screwed up on the computer performance on this GPU it is out done by the GTX 580. Hell its out done by AMDs cards in a lot of compute stuff.

Sure for right now its cheaper but in a day or two we will see AMD drop its price.

AMD is the only choice for multi monitor set up Nvidia surround is terrible and can't touch Eyefinity. AMD also open sourced its proprietary driver for the 7 series so we should see massive improvements in the Linux drivers for it.

Yes gaming performance is higher but all this means is the 7970 will get cheaper and for people who do workstation rendering on there computers can get a 7970 that trashes Nvidia at a lower price.

Nice to see Nvidia dropping the GPGPU stuff they have been pushing for years to switch to gaming performance as a gamer I think this is good but I am sure some workstation people are not happy.

No, I would definitely NOT recommend Chromebooks. Find one on either Craigslist or at a clearance on Staples or something that has a really good GPU. You probably want to avoid Acer.

Are you actually recommending someone to buy from Craigslist that place is full of people ripping each others off. You should get something with a good GPU thanks for the advice good thing you came in the other posters told them to get an underpowered GPU. Nothing is wrong with Acer my experience with them has been good especially that there desktops have thumb screws and do not require screws to pull the harddrive out and have used good brands of PSUs.
