posted a message on Square Enix shows off incredible next-gen engine,
I am not impressed its a tech demo its ok cool at most and defiantly not incredible. This being a tech demo means its optimized for a very specific set of hardware and the physics are all scripted the movement of the people is scripted. The textures are meh once you get close my Skyrim install has higher res texture on some of the buildings ect.

For example this demo from last year.

Looks better then that but its soo optimized that demo can only be run on Nvidia hardware even tho they said it could run on a 6970 theoretically.

I don't really see anything cool or new or impressive at all in this demo.

posted a message on Which GPU 670 or 7970 HELP!
The 7970 when overclocked on stock coolers will do better then the 680 so if you are willing to do that and can afford the 7970 it might be worth the extra price.

    GHz means nothing.

Except that in this situation it does when you are comparing Intel Sandy Bridge to other Intel Sandy Bridge you can compare GHZ when you are comparing same archs.

If you're getting a 64gb or less drive, you should consider using Intel Smart Response, then you don't even have to worry about it, although you sacrifice some speed, you increase the SSD's life and reduce wasting precious SSD space.

Or you can partition the SSD 128GB in half and use part for the OS and the other part for smart response.

    75fps is a lot...

WoW and Mc aren't even demanding games

Err wrong Wow is a demanding game in Directx11 mode full water graphics full ultra shadows and everything else maxed my 6970 overclocked still has a hard time getting stable 75 fps.

Uhh.. The Witcher 2 DID have DRM... After the original came out, they released a non-DRM version (seeing how quick the DRM got cracked).

I only pirate games which aren't worth my $60. Like I'll pay money for a mere 5-6 hour long singleplayer.

Besides, what's up with games being $60 standard today? Up until CoD4, every game was only $50.

I don't care it did not have DRM when I got it.

50$? Video games are worth 40$ only console games are 60$ I refuse to buy any games until it drops to 40$ unless it has a DLCs or stuff built in.

Does it really help much to stop piracy? It just delays it.
When Diablo 3 came out the servers went down and therefore you could not even play single play or WoW which is a completely different game. I find it annoying and ridiculous.

To go back to Diablo 3 I think blizzard did it more as an anti cheat system to try and prevent what happened with Diablo 2.
With the real money auction house someone could really screw stuff up if they cheated.

Why not get the corsair m60?

The rat7 is 5$ more and has more customization options. The m60 has about as many features as the rat 3 but the op already said he wants more features then the 3.

On the other hand the m90 is the same price and has more buttons.

Obviously, the mouse isn't for you since you have experienced it first hand and disliked it, but I would like to give it a chance. Honestly I can only see it as an improvement over my very slim Gateway mouse.

Of course its not for me but If people come to this forum they are generally looking for opinions I am going to give my opinion of it but mice are something you need to try first hand before you buy find a friend who owns one or find a local computer store might have a show one or might be nice enough to get one out of the box.

People hold mice in very many different ways that can lead to some designs being amazing for some and **** for others.

If you buy it and like it I am glad you got a good product but I will be just as happy with my choice too. Plus I don't think I would consider spending that much on a mouse anyway a death adder I consider a little expensive.

I get where you are coming from, but why would you go from disliking a product to hating it just because you realized what company made it?

Because of the especially crap quality of products I got from madcatz. The Ps2 controller I got from them had sticky buttons from the second we got it. So we got a replacement and it never would turn on and then we noticed that port in our PS2 quit working.

I have gotten crap products from Logitech but I have yet to have one kill one of my USB ports.

Wait, so you suddenly consider the mouse to be poorer in quality just because it's made by a certain company?

Yes if a company I have received crappy products from before and poor customer support I generally will refuse to buy from that company again.
