If you use the IGPs monitor hookups it will be using the IGP.

Buy a DVI to HDMI adapter.

posted a message on AMD Trinity Desktop (Update)
Toms recently updated its Trinity Benchmakrs.
Note this is not a release or ever a paper relase of the product.
It is not really even worth talking about the IGP we know it murders Intel and we had a thread on that allready.

While AMD still loses in more single threaded benchmarks it still pulls out a lot of wins if toms used the OpenCl versions of the programs it would be a even larger gap in a lot.
This also shows people once again can get an AMD APU without massive sacrifices in CPU performance.

Would have also been nice to see how they perform in Windows 8 with a scheduler more optimized for AMDs arch.

The lowend PD quad cores and six cores should make very good budget overclocking CPUs if AMD can price them right this time around.

Fallout 3 crashes constantly, when I looked it up I read multiple things about it not running well on quad core systems. I wanted to see if I could limit it to 2.
I will fiddle around with the BIOS tomorrow, I must go to bed.

You could just set its affinity in Task Manager or not play the terrible game both equally good solutions.

Don't hate the players hate the game.
Apple is one of many companies abusing the current patent system if you actually want to do something about it go to the website I linked in my first post and sign it or you could ***** about it on a forum.

But here is what I'm confused with how is Samsung responsible for whats on the Nexus Google handles the updates for it and all the software if it was something in touchwiz it would be different but the nexus has stock Android so why not go after Google altogether and get Android banned.

In the end the attempts at containing the monster have only been warped and twisted to be used by it.
If you want to fix this problem might consider supporting this.

Also note this is a pretrial ban so nothing has been proven yet and I am sure sammy will challenge the ruling along with Google.

Cool new gadgets almost always are. Especially true when they are completely superfluous to necessity.

They've been trying to convince people that 3D (in one form or another) is the new standard forever, If it isn't standard/affordable after 40+ years of effort, I have little hope of the current version being worth the pricetag. Until they work out how to do it without glasses, and still keep it relatively affordable, the masses will never fully adopt it.

I imagine the novelty wears off faster then the average bank account can recover.

I would not call this "new"
Nvidia has been doing it sense 2008.

Combine it with Microsofts Natal or something similar to get very realistic depth and movement of objects based on rl head and eye movement. That and with larger high res monitors and eyefinity with monitors that wrap around you could create a very impressive experience.

Why wouldn't Nvidia support 3d for it? I've got a 9500GS and my Nvidia Control panel not only has a stereoscopic 3d settings page, but a whole list of games and how well they are predicted to work given my current drivers. Obviously I wouldn't bother messing with it with such an outdated OEM GPU (or likely, at all), even if my monitor supported it, but the support seems to be there.

Is it a compatibility issue with that monitor, or what?

Nvidias 3D technology only works with specific monitors that are marked as Nvidia 3D.

AMD uses a open standard and lets other companies work out the 3D.

You can use a work around to get Nvidia 3D working with the monitor I was not aware this existed but someone has figured this out.
Link for anyone who is interested.

When I first told some people I was going to change my avatar to that quote because I found it funny i even said well I will bet money i get called a Nvidia fanboi despite running Nvidia hardware when I first joined the forum.

Unless you got an AMD GPU Nvidia wont support 3D for games on it.
Honestly unless your a hardware gamer who sets games to lowest settings for max FPS you probably won't see a massive difference.

IPS I would not consider best for a gamer on price alone but this monitor is a good price for a 3D monitor let alone a 3D plus IPS.

    Edit:
I was not aware a hack was available to get Nvidia to work with the monitor I included the link below.

I wander if it is better than a asus transformer prime

In what way CPU wise they are pretty much the same
    Same amount of RAM.
Screen is same res and I'm pretty sure the prime is IPS still wish it was amoled.
The prime has a larger screen.
The prime has the advantage of having a dock for even more battery life.
The Nex7 has NFC chip so that is an advantage if your like me and use Gwallet all the time.

I still would not consider buying one unless Google works with Nvidia to make rom dev for it easier.

Even then I would rather have an Omap5 tablet for better battery life.
