You could just use a mod to hide real names so if some one dies they are forced to change name. Also should not be aloud to speak of there old life so know one knows what they doing before.

    Quote from Nick T

like a 5 hour per day session? thats a good thought that way you couldn't do something while the cops are asleep. But ideally there would be enough people to take shifts but a short daily session would make this much easier sense you cant sign off in real life.

I think that 3 or 4 small tribes of 10 to 20 to start with and established leaders would be enough to get the ball rolling.

I dont think taking a long time to carry out death is necessary because in real life you can end a life by pulling a trigger, there just needs to be heavy ethical consequences of killing and recklessness.

The only consequence of killing would be public out cry your not really taking a life out of the world but then again if you get people who can rp they can act like it, but alot of this depends on the community you get to do it.

Also you might want to create a custom map and border it some how or find a really good seed.

I've thought of the idea before wanted to implement it but you would need an alot better server then I had access to you would need at least 60 people or so per nation along with the moderators to make sure there is not any cheating.

With how many different forums of monetary systems would also be hard to simulate. Simulating death can also be difficult you could allow people to say have in game reproduction to allow re spawning and it would take along time to carry out so death would mean something.

War this is difficult because to pull it off you would need people online all the time so maybe limit the server to the day and try to get as many people in a single timezone.

posted a message on AMD Bulldozer?
Information based on what info we do have being leaked documents and just word from employes.

Amd bulldozer will feature 8 core CPU so it will be better then Intel in rendering or anything that can make use of the extra cores. AMD will have a new version of turbo on the CPU same thing Intel has. There 8 cores can be capable for say gaming turn into 4 cores making the cores execute the code faster.

Higher clocks from leaked document the 95 watt cpu will be clocked at 4.0+ ghz with a 500mhz turbo. With there high end chip only being 95 watt overclocking should do very well on the chip.

Bulldozer is not a upgrade its a 100% redesign of amd cpus. With ivy bridge delayed into mid next year. Also Bulldozer should be shipping out this month with being purchasable in September

posted a message on AMD 'Bulldozer' CPUs
Currently Intel just wins in flat out performance, but AMD's new APU does win in the budget category. We have no benchmarks no leaked info about Bulldozer so we have no idea if it will fall flat on its face or completely destroy Intel. I'm waiting for it because I already have an am3 motherboard that will support bulldozer. At worst bulldozer will probably be a good budget CPU. A+ cert is also not hard at all. Real experience > certifications.

posted a message on An idea for height limit issues
I think now would be a good time to switch to 3d arrangement of chunks with him redoing the biome code generation and changing some terrian feature code. He is already messing with the code in creative we had insane build heights it was great. exploring giant mountains would also be cool

I preorderd battlefield 3. But Dice will do what ever they want alot of the community may not like a feature but they do it any way buying a game does not mean you to boss the devs around. I think some RPG elements will be cool survival atm is boring with out mods.

posted a message on No OpenGL (Minecraft) support (yet) on mobile AMD dynamic switchable graphics
Actually nvidia switchable graphics can do this with allot of games also big issue in world of Warcraft i think nvidia released a statement saying it was intel fault or something. Can't you just disable the intel GPU in bios.

    Thanks! (:

By casual games they were mostly for them to play mine craft on and they are using the integrated gpu. They are getting around 50 with a 64x texture pack.
