Note "FPS try hard", not "People who use guns". ^-^

Yeah, I know. I just thought it was a funny comparison between a type of person in the gaming community and in the gun community. Like I said, they are opposites. :)

...about how he knows all the guns in the game, and has used half of them in his garden... "If you have not shot a gun before, you should not play this game" as most of them say.

This is funny, because in the gun community you get the opposite of exactly that. People who call others "CODFags" if they don't know every little detail of a gun. "Go back to your video games little CODFag, you don't know anything about guns except what you see in video games." :D

    The Game's Too Linear Gamer

One of my friends is disappointed by every single game I recommend because they are too linear, when in reality he wants every game to be an Oblivion clone. Forget about the story, forget about the gameplay, if he can't wander around aimlessly for hours and hours picking up vegetables and other things that have literally no value, it's too linear for him. It gets a little annoying.

    Oh, and also:

    The Fanboy

The gamer who thinks a certain game is the best game in the series / console / world. If they get a whiff of an opinion that isn't theirs, instant flame war. They will twist logic pretzels in order to defend that game. They take any criticism of the game, no matter how valid, as a personal attack.

    The Nostalgia Gamer

A subset of fanboy gamers, this is the gamer who looks at games from their youth through rose colored glasses. It doesn't matter what games are doing these days, the old classics do it all better. This is even more apparent when a franchise gets a reboot. If the new version isn't exactly like the original, it is the worst game ever.

posted a message on How bad is my computer?
My friend bought a computer a few weeks ago that is worse than your old one. For 250 bucks, it was on clearance at Best Buy. I told him it was terrible and he was wasting his money but he didn't listen.

New computer looks okay, but I think you could cut out a lot of fat. Why do you need water cooling? Are you planning on overclocking? And why so much ram? 16GB is really unnessessary. Also, you probably won't need a discrete sound card, unless you're an audio junkie and plan to hook it up to an expensive sound system. Especially since your motherboard already has 7.1 audio support.

I would also recommend building it yourself.

    posted a message on 48÷2(9+3) = 288 OR 2? (the poll)
    PEMDAS is actually more like:
    P
    E
    MD
    AS

Same goes for any other acronym.

This isn't algebra, this is elementary math. I hate to sound rude, but if you don't know order of operations, you probably haven't been paying attention in math class. Or your still in fourth grade.

    The correct answer is 288.

Both. When given a choice, sometimes I pick male (which I am) and sometimes female. If I'm playing a game a second time I usually pick whatever I didn't pick last time to see if there are any differences in dialogue.

I have the HAF 932 and I had to squeeze the cables in under the back panel. I thought there should have been more room back there. Also, the 932 is a vacuum, it will take all the dust. Lots of space though.

Oh and I forgot to mention, the USB ports on the front are up-side down.

I can't remember. I think it was either X-COM UFO Defense, or Ascendency. Maybe something else, it was a long time ago.

I like Terran Conflict, but I can't make a comparison since I haven't played Reunion. But I do know that X3TC save files are not compatible with the expansion, Albion Prelude.

    Great game though.

If you want a Valve game, I can give you a Steam coupon. I still have some left over from christmas that I'm not going to use. This goes for anyone, actually.

Mine is still a picture of some guy crashing an F-16. It's not cluttered unless you reveal the hidden icons.
