Could the NEI/ChromatiCraft problems I'm having have anything with adding mods to an already generated world? Because I tried looking up recipes on a new world and it was fine.
Another
mod is involved in the crystallizer crash. Please try and find out
which. As for the casting table, it is not eating your items. It pumps
the output to adjacent inventories if possible.
I'm a moron for not realizing that the casting table was dumping the crafted items into the adjacent Workbench.
The crash problem, though, I still haven't been able to pinpoint. It also only occurs when I look up a recipe, not when I look up what an item is used to make. This offers some bit of a work around, but I still can't get the crashing to stop without uninstalling NEI itself.
I've encountered a pair of weird bugs and I don't know if it has anything to do with the other mods I've installed.
The first, more serious problem I'm having is an interaction with NEI and RotaryCraft, from what I can tell. When trying to look up a recipe for something in NEI, I get this crash report: http://pastebin.com/HRAzVHX1
The second bug is an error with Chromaticraft which may be because of some weird mod interaction. When trying to cast something in the Casting Table, I place the items in, whack it with the Elemental Manipulator, and then when I go to take the item out, there's nothing there. The table ate my items. I have no idea what's going on with this.
Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem.

That may be. I have been witness to creatures SPAWNING. Maybe I saw something DESPAWNING. Come to think of it... I had just killed a Skeleton and fled a Creeper down that tunnel. Still... it scared the bejeezus out of me.
Alright. Before you read this, I want to make something clear. I would rather not have people arguing and yelling at me about what happened to me. I am not a troll either.
Instead of trying to explain this out, I'll just tell you what I saw:
I was working in a Alpha-generated world that I trimmed using MCEdit. I was problem solving some redstone circutry for new rail system I was installing. Everything was going swimmingly (mostly) and I had just removed some blocks from the ceiling that suffocated me when I got out of my minecart. I turned around to head back to the main switchboard to try and fix what was wrong and, down another corridor right across from me I saw what looked like Steve? (I have a custom skin, by the way). I only saw it for a split second and it was gone, like an Enderman teleporting away. It scared the !@#$ out of me and I haven't seen it since.
What could've caused this? Chunk loading error? A texture hiccup? Herobrine? (doubt it)
Your input is welcome as long as I don't get flamed.
Hi guys. I'm kinda new to modding, but I've been using them long enough that I've taken in an interest in making my own. I was looking through the modding tutorials and it lead me to the Techne program. So I downloaded it and, after some tinkering, came up with this. I was going for a lizard, but what do you guys think?
I would expect Classic to still be around after the 1.8 update for those who haven't bought the game yet. The new Creative mode would probably be similar to Classic, but with the new blocks and features, such as Redstone Circuitry. You'd just have an unlimited supply of materials to build with.
But, of course, what will happen has yet to be seen. As it's all up to
The only way I can think to get rid of grass is to dig it all up. But then you run into the problem of it spreading into the area again. You may have to just replace it all with cobble or something.

They do teleport into water if it's between them and you. I made this achievement based off an experience I had with a rather dumb Enderman.

Kill an Enderman from a long distance by making him teleport into water.
