    Words can not contain the awesomeness I feel about this mod. There's just so many *big* things, and the little things really round it out so damn well. Utterly impressed.

    I checked your original post, didn't spot anything about mod packs. So, I'll ask here .. as a member of the FTB Team, can I have your permission to strong arm people to get this included into a few mods? Hell, if only, I'd love it as part of my upcoming Technomancer pack. It would fit in perfectly.

    But yeah, mostly, I just wanted to say .. awesome job man.

    Had an idea for an additional block type .. warded bricks .. combine warded stone with glowstone in a 2x2 pattern to make warded bricks. This would provide multiple coloured bricks (aka the standard brick pattern) with a glowstone type mortar (some level of light emitting, maybe half?) *and* bring the protection power of warded stone.

    Maybe moar research required ;)

    Love the mod, awesome stuff :)

    Even aside from the barrels themselves, it's the level of config available that's brilliant. I'm aiming to incorporate this into a Magic World for 1.5 pack .. and want to use thaumcraft wood for the higher tier barrels. Help tie the mods together. Also tempted to incorporate 'shiny metal' from TE because there's no use for it so far in a Magic World pack.

    Are there plans to have 'upgrade' items (aka Iron Chest, Factorization, etc) rather than having to break the barrel and use the barrel to upgrade it? Or does it do such already, and I've missed it ..

    Top mod, thanks so much for it.

    I guess my thoughts lean towards the above suggestion .. being able to hook in EnderStorage has some real benefits. If this was possible, it could be linked into a personally coded ender chest. The right setup back at base could ensure content is available from the vendor, and even extract any payment to be placed into a sorting system.

    Even that aside, still a very shmexy mod :)

    One request I have, is the ability to 'tone down' the giant trees - perhaps through a max-hight value in config. Am testing at the moment, and have found someone with an Axe of the Stream (thaumcraft item) will bring the server to its knees.

    One request I do have, is integration with other mods. For me, the biggest example would be Thaumcraft. Adding in aspects to your animal drops would be awesome :)

    I have to ask (and hope) that Person66 will continue this mod. Would love it updated to 1.4.7 and "latest" forge .. but again, only if it's needed.

    This is my go-to backup solution. It's simple, clean, lightweight, effective, does exactly what it's meant to do.

    When ever I need to bounce my server, I push through a manual backup and then 'stop' the server. My shell script handles the rest. Because I'm a big cheaty mc'cheatcheat, I run my world in /dev/shm (ramdrive on ubuntu linux) and if I need to bounce the whole server, it just grabs the latest backup file and populates a new world directory structure from that. Works like a charm.

    Thanks for an awesome mod. I, quite literally, don't want to run a server without it - it's just that damn useful.

    Yup, came in to report similar error as above. Latest iron chest release (plus daily builds) are requiring FML 4.7.22

    As per the latest "official" release of forge: http://www.minecraft...hp?topic=4804.0 .. FML is 4.7.3.519, and Iron Chest mod wants something quite a bit higher than that.

    Trying to find out what's what here. Will post up any solution I find ..

    edit: Head on over to http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and grab the latest version of forge there .. working now on my local test .. well, it *loaded* .. now to really start testing

    I'd also recommend Bandicam be added to the list of capture/encoders. Pretty much all the power of FRAPS with a bunch of extra and damn useful options - the main one being able to encode with different codecs. The default is a MPG standard which is fairly small and of high quality, but you can also use Motion JPEG which is a huge boon to us using Sony Vegas or another more high-end video editor.

    It can also create multiple audio streams, for voice and for game, so you have the ability to mute any sniffs or coughs you make, lower the game sound when needed, etc.

    Comes with a download/trial (which has a watermark and 10 minute limit, annoying I know) .. but it's only $40 for the full version.

    Whilst I wouldn't recommend it, you *can* just capture and upload to YT if you wish.

    Highly worthy app, really helped me with my caps.

    I've been using FRAPS but got annoyed at the codec .. tried out Bandicam and I'm a convert.

    Allows you to record compressed and as a single file .. much easier to manage .. and has multiple codec support, so if you use Sony Vegas (for example) you can switch to Motion JPEG for better results. You can also split up the microphone and game sound sources into separate channels. Check my channel for a few examples ..

    I would seriously recommend you give it a shot. There's a download trial for it, so what do you have to lose?
