I've Decided to take the pack down for a bit. I want to give it a new look and name, and possibly just restart from scratch. I have some ideas. But it may take a while.

I know it's been quite a while since Iv'e tried anything with this, but I will see about updating it now that I have a new laptop to work with
Might add a few mods and I'll check out Tinkers Mechworks. I think I tried it before but there may have been a compatibility issue with another mod, or it may have seemed too advanced for what I'm trying to accomplish.
There also seems to be download issues which I am currently trying to fix
Its fine. I'm not someone who really cares if anyone edits it some. It's their gameplay, not mine .
If you dissable the Growthcraft mods and Natura mod lag should decrease tremendously because of them having to do with world generation. That should work some. Ofcourse it also depends on whatever other programs are running during gameplay. If you want to get the best out of it make sure nothing else is running. Also helps to have a good computer. If all else fails you can try recreating the pack with only the mods you want as they are all listed above. Just keep coremods in mind.
I don't know if it is just my computer... but every time I go to play steampunk'd it just disappears :/ It opens in my dock but I can't see anything and then it closes on its own Anyone know what could be the problem?
Hmm. No one else has had the same problem I don't think. I would suggest finding another 1.7.10 based pack and try running it. It might be the computer considering no one else is having the problem.
Looks like you've done a good job with this one! I'll admit it, the idea of a steampunk modpack has crossed my mind a few times lately, and I'm glad someone's made one.
My only gripe is that it seems pretty magic based for a steampunk pack, So I'll keep an eye out for some good steampunk esque mods for you.
Lastly, do you need graphics for your technic logo and background? If so, may be able to help.

But I was kind of persuaded by some of the others helping to work on it because of how many things talked about in steampunk also have a magic or mad science element to them. Thanks. If you do find any good steampunk mods please recommend them. I have been searching for a while coming up with very little and some of the ones I'd like I'm having trouble getting the permissions for because of no response from the authors.
The Modpack is currently being rebooted with major major changes. Current downloads of the pack on Technic have been removed and upon release the pack will be under a new name with a new post.
Wondering if someone could create a mod like Cogs of the Machine for 1.7.10. I'm building a Modpack and would love to see something like that in it but haven't been able to find anything that has that that fits the modpack well. http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/details/steampunkd.491350
I surprisingly also have not found any simple specific Hot Air Balloon mods out there for 1.7.10. If tried looking at some other mods like that but they are either incompatible or they add things too hightech for this specific modpack
If I cant find any other for the hotarballoon ill just use archimedes ships

I may Not be able to continue updating the pack for a while. Just not enough time to take care of things

Finally have NEI in the pack working.
Adding in the mod DIVERSITY, now that I have permission from the maker.
Mo'Villages Removed.
Technic Download will be updated momentarily to implement these changes.
