posted a message on Looking for someone good with server plugins
If you want a plugin manager you would have to give them access to your server control panel. That gives a random person on the internet complete control over your server. If downloading plugins is too hard for the server owner to do you might to try watching some tutorials and actually learning.

Tip: Don't trust random people on the internet with complete control over your server.

simply, i want to choose a minecraft server with best amount/quality of plugins
Then you want a bukkit server. It has the biggest list of plugins that are most easily updated for new versions of minecraft. BUkkit's API just makes it so easy to make plugins and update them. The list can be found here.

How much RAM is allocated for the server? You could try recording on a different computer than the server is on. Ie. from your friends side.

posted a message on Need Players To Get Players
This "Service" sounds a little sketchy. I think it's a really good topic though! I feel the reason small servers can't get more people is often because their server topics gets lost. The topics for large server with a lot of people is always at the top of the server lists and draws even more people in. Small servers have less frequent conversation on their threads.

The best way to combat that is bumping your topic. But that's against the rules so don't do that. The next best way is updating topics often with relevant information-keep everyone posted. I you look at the first few pages of huge threads, like Killion for example. The first few pages are full of deals and special offers that the OP and staff are making. And a lot of staff/guard applications.

This seems like a very specific problem that is built into the plugin. I might make a ticket with the dev here. Good luck fixing it.

If memory servers correct, i believe servers that have that option use a plugin.

EDIT: Found a link to the newest plugin i could find.
    http://dev.bukkit.or...-plugins/uhome/
^this is not a good way to do that.

OP already has essentials and a permission manager. That's all you need.

You just have to edit a small thing in the Essentials config.yml. This creates new nodes that can be given to groups in the permissions files.

Look at this part in the essentials config.
    ############################################################
    # +------------------------------------------------------+ #
    # | EssentialsHome | #
    # +------------------------------------------------------+ #
    ############################################################
    # Allows people to set their bed at daytime.
    update-bed-at-daytime: true
    # Set to true to enable per-world permissions for using homes to teleport between worlds.
    # This applies to the /home only.
    # Give someone permission to teleport to a world with essentials.worlds.<worldname>
    world-home-permissions: false
    # Allow players to have multiple homes.
    # Players need essentials.sethome.multiple before they can have more than 1 home, defaults to 'default' below.
    # Define different amounts of multiple homes for different permissions, e.g. essentials.sethome.multiple.vip
    # People with essentials.sethome.multiple.unlimited are not limited by these numbers.
    # For more information, visit http://wiki.ess3.net/wiki/Multihome
    sethome-multiple:
      default: 3
      # essentials.sethome.multiple.vip
      vip: 5
      # essentials.sethome.multiple.staff
      staff: 10
    # Set timeout in seconds for players to accept tpa before request is cancelled.
    # Set to 0 for no timeout.
    tpa-accept-cancellation: 120

Right now you can let people have 3 (default), 5 or 10 homes, useing the nodes "essentials.sethome.multiple", "essentials.sethome.multiple.vip" and "essentials.sethome.multiple.staff"

posted a message on Need help making a popular Minecraft server
If you want to find staff to help you on the server try the Looking For section within servers. If you haven't rented a server yet try reading about server sponsors here.

As for making a very popular servers... Servers aren't created popular. Making a large server comes slowly. Start with something small and manageable. If your ideas are good more people will join and stay on. If you keep the game interesting there will be discussion on your server thread and more people will want to join. Eventually your server will grow and become popular if it is good.

    God luck!
