Gives free railroad, minecart, redstone, and other blocks so I can build railroad systems. It's not fun transporting only yourself all over the place, and I'm sure there are people who'd appreciate a nice rail system.
Reasons for wanting to play on this server:
To fill in the role of chief of the transportation commission, building/optimizing roads, railway systems, etc.
How long have you been playing Minecraft for?
Since the days when Creative was the only mode.
Experience playing on other RP servers:
For alpha, I generally host my own servers and play with a close circle of friends (3-4 people). Back in the Creative Mode days, I OP'd for various servers such as Creativity Unbound (some of you may know UndeadSheep)
What are your goals on this server? (What are you going to do?)
As previously mentioned, to keep the amount of city transportation infrastructure on par with growth. I would prefer having a helper as more people join. Since I'd be a civil engineer, methinks I shall be spared from punishment if my city falls to an opposing faction :smile.gif:
Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I would post a resume here, but that would be taking it too far xD
So, I shall just talk about gaming. Been gaming since...forever. I've always loved multiplayer social games, since video games don't have to be seen as anti-social. The games I play range from Puzzle Pirates to Starcraft II. I thoroughly enjoy games that require organization and the like; games such SC2 risk. Here's a link to my Youtube channel, 900,000+ views http://www.youtube.com/user/L4DWonton
I also enjoy reading on history, and have touched on the topic of government structure and communism.
*How often will you be playing?
Apprx. 1-5 hours/week
*How old are you and where are you from?
22, SF, CA, USA
*Will this be your primary server? If not, what is your main playing server?
I just want to have another server to join when my private server's empty.
*Have you ever been banned from another Minecraft server? If so, why?
Yep. Banned myself for fun. And this question really doesn't work; everyone would say no.
This has happened to me about 3 times. It seems to whenever an update comes out and I'm still playing (not sure?)
Anyway, what I did the first time, is wait for a monster to kill me. (This happened when Notch first added the mobs in InFdev) It worked fine after I respawned
The second time, I actually managed to drown myself.
The third time, I created a chest below me, put all my items into it, and deleted the level.dat file in my saves folder. Now if you do this, and load up your game again, it will say it's empty, but it's not. Create a new file there and you will spawn at your old spawn point. From there you can just go back to your chest and pick up all your items.
Now, if you've already dug too much, or cannot make a chest, just delete the level.dat file, you'll lose your items, but it's a small price to pay, to be able to play.
PS, you should also be able to dig straight up too :smile.gif:
Hope I could help, I know it got me so angry when I though I had to start over, and it's a very evil glitch. Good Luck!
Thank you so so much! I fixed the glitch. Thank goodness I always have a crafting table and chest on hand. Minecarts were fun to push around. Once again, thank you!
This glitch occurred randomly as I was digging in sand and admiring the falling graphics.
The computer froze completely, but the music in the background ran unaffected. A few seconds later, lag stopped but something happened to controls. I can only turn in the y-axis (looking up and down only), and I can jump and use mouse1. I can't build blocks, turn around, or even move.....
I loaded up a different save file, and it runs perfectly there. Now I'm confused and annoyed that I won't be able to test out minecarts on my main save :sad.gif:
There should then be a form of currency maybe? Or perhaps gold and diamond will be the standard of trade.
I know that I would definitely be a lumber supplier. Maybe make a huge storage yard labeled "The Home Depot" and a massive tree farm in the back. I'd probably start off remodeling/constructing homes for people.
Since every level starts off with the spawn room, I think it is only reasonable to add an option to move everything inside the spawn house to a different map. Stuff like chests will retain their respective inventories.
Why? Because some people might want to move to a fresh map not dug out and exploited. Others might realize error on their part in map generation.
I for one, decided that a "flat, deep" map would be great to build on. Little did I know that farming is impossible without water, and sand doesn't proliferate in the absence of water.

I'm trying to do KEYDOWN( ) for left mouse. I've tried
-100
MOUSE1
BUTTON0
BUTTON1
and none of them work. I'd rather not do a while loop with KEY(attack)
Thanks in advance.

I guess Notch loves more people than just me.
