I thought about it, but I do prefer laptops because of portability. I've used a desktop before, and I can say that I am fonder of being able to use my computer wherever.
Also, thanks for the cyberpower and razer suggestions! I will check them out.
HELLO, HELLO! I got a new ASUS laptop a few months ago. It worked nicely when I played vanilla Minecraft. I started modding it back in March. At first, it worked well, but recently it started crashing. I'm looking for a new gaming laptop for a decent price, which I'd like to less than $1,500. If you have some recommendations, let me know please!
This time, Minecraft isn't running on worlds and servers.
I haven't tried it on other versions, but it seems to be doing this on 1.8 and 1.9.
Here's the crash report:

Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: Using incremental CMS is deprecated and will likely be removed in a future release
What seems to be happening is that MC is crashing after I enter a server/world.
First of all, there are methods on how to delete META-INF using the bin.
Second, META-INF is usually what needs to be deleted to make Forge and OptiFine work, and the fact that I cannot find it makes the situation weirder (T_T).
OK, so last month I got a new computer. I was SUPER excited because my old computer was a piece of crap. I downloaded Minecraft, and a short while after I was able to get shaders with OptiFine 1.8.9. I downloaded Forge so I could get mods working, and it loaded just fine! Well, until I tried to make it work with OptiFine. As soon as I placed my mod in the folder, Minecraft crashed! I deleted Forge so I didn't copy the crash report (YEAH, that was REEEEAL smart), but it did say, "We think your game may be modded, as such we can't accept this crash report".
BEFORE YOU START POSTING!
Here's some info:
-Yes, Minecraft was closed the whole time!
-I opened my task manager, and couldn't find javaw.exe.
-I don't have a minecraft.jar folder.....?
-I "apparently" don't have a bin in my .minecraft folder?!
-I opened my forge file with PeaZip and couldn't find META-INF.
Whenever I turn on shaders and open a world, my game closes and gives me a report for stack overload. I don't know much about computers, so I don't know if it's my graphics card or what.
