I am running this mod in a server and I can not seem to be able to link the stone to the pad? Is it suppose to be a pad or totem pole looking thing? I place an item on the ground that looks similar to a pressure plate, but thicker. Upon right clicking on it with a stone, nothing happens at all and when I go to right click away from the teleportation pad, a message comes up saying that I need to link the stone.
I am using the latest version/download that you uploaded today with the latest recommended forge (662 I believe).
About to start using this mod and test it out. Was wondering if there is any pre-made settings for Mo' Creatures and Twilight Forest already out before I start making my own adjustments to the config file or if anyone is willing to share.
This is caused from the Slime Girl NPC (the one which can only be spawned using the item). It cannot be disabled because it does not spawn naturally. Someone probably spawned it in instead. I will try to fix this when I release my next update.
EDIT: This is caused by killing a Slime Girl NPC. Similar to IndyZas post.
Is there a work around method currently that can be done to prevent the server from crashing over and over? No one on the server is killing any more of the Slime Girl NPC and the server will still randomly crash. Or do I just need to wait to the next update?
The above is a link to a crash report I keep getting on my server. Do you know why this is happening? I even disabled the Slime Girl but still keep getting this crash.
it's the issue I mentioned. Gaia is adding mobs to Forge with a frequency of 0, at some point, you'll get a negative number and the game crashes. How often you get the negative number varies, depends on how many more mobs are added to the list. The higher the number of mobs, the less likely you'll get the error. when Gaia is on its own, you'll notice the crash every hour or so (who knows!)
when MoCreatures is added, it removes the vanilla mobs from the forge list and as you're setting the freq to 0 for all the Gaia mobs on its config file, you get the crash quite often. the fix? The mob author has to add the check I mentioned. I just fixed that same bug on MoCreatures a couple of days ago, that's how I know about the bug. If he contacts me, I'll help him fix the bug.
Ok thanks, I think I get it now. I contacted him via his forum and I guess I wait and see where it goes from there. Thanks!
Looking at the files, it appears that the Grimoire of Gaia 2 mod is still adding its mods to the Minecraft/Forge spawner list despite the frequency set to 0... perhaps you should give it a try without MoCreatures and if you still get the error message... then I'm right.
So the mod author will have to add a clause to remove or avoid adding the mobs with a frequency of 0 to the spawn lists.
Both mods can work nicely if that issue is fixed, and then you set the frequencies to 0 on the Gaia config, and use the MoCreatures config file + custom mob spawner to control the spawning of the other Gaia mobs
That is the problem, when I set 1 or even all the mobs from Gaia to 0 in the config, I get the crash of IllegalArguementsException like the one I posted above about 5 seconds in from joining in on my server. For some reason when Mo Creatures is added with Gaia, it does not like the Gaia setting of 0, but without Mo Creatures, the CustomSpawner will accept it and follow the config settings in the MoCProperties. Oh well, looks like I will have to pick one or the other.

I have been talking to DrZhark with Mo Creatures about an issue with their CustomSpawner and using Mo Creatures with your mod. There seems to be a problem that DrZhark thinks he identified and the fix would fix the issue I am having. Hopefully you can follow from what I posted above, otherwise the whole conversation is on his forum for Mo Creatures on page 2468.
You'll get the error message only very randomly with so many mobs installed in that mod. If you want to use both mods,
just put every single mod to 0 freq on the Gaia config and use the MoCreatures config to set frequencies and biomes.

Well I tried that out without Mo Creatures and to surprise everything worked the way it should. No Minotaur spawned when I set the Gaia config to 0 and I left the Valkyrie at 1 but no setting for them in the MoCProperties file and they did not spawn as well. So I guess that means Gaia is not compatible with Mo Creatures if I want to adjust the spawning?
Is there a way to disable mobs from other mods using the CustomSpawner? I am using Mo Creatures and Grimoire of Gaia 2 and I am having a problem with too many mobs spawning no matter what i set for the configs so I am just trying to disable some of them general. Here are the config files I am currently running:
Grimoire of Gaia 2 Config File: http://pastebin.com/aiF8Zfhb *Note when I set one of these settings to 0 to disable them, I get a crash. (IllegalArguementsException) Here is the crash report if I set one of the Grimoire settings to 0: http://pastebin.com/nW9CMHNg
MoCProperties File: http://pastebin.com/dqHThKwD *In particular I am trying to disable the Minotaur and the Valkyrie. I don't even have the Valkyrie in this file and have the Minotaur set to spawn in no biomes and a frequency of 0...yet both of them still spawn in mass numbers.
Is this an issue with Grimoire's side or is there something up on CustomSpawner's side that needs to be fix or do I have the wrong setting?
I have a question in regards the CustomSpawner. I am trying to get Grimoire of Gaia 2 and Mo Creatures to work together. Grimoire of Gaia2 generates a config file with spawn frequencies as well to does the CustomSpawner. Does the CustomSpawner override Grimoire of Gaia2 config file? Because currently I have Grimoire of Gaia2 mobs spawning in large numbers no matter what i set as the frequency. And when I set the Grimoire of Gaia2 config file spawn frequencies to 0, I get a illegal arguments crash after playing for a few minutes.
This is the crash report when I set the Grimoire config file spawn frequencies of a mob to 0. http://pastebin.com/cQLTLUBX
EDIT: I think maybe the crash has to do with the Grimoire mobs set to 0 in the config sheet since it says 0 will disable the mobs. I was hoping by that then those mobs would be forced to follow CustomSpawner settings. Everything seems to work fine when the setting is not set to 0 except for the mass amount of mobs that are spawned from Grimoire mod, maybe that mod is incompatiable with CustomSpawner or won't work correctly.
