I run a local server on my desktop as well as the client for me and my house mate.
I'm wondering if we both have to add forge to our minecraft client folders or can i just do it all for the server? we have a few different server folders on the desktop for different worlds, seems to be the easiest way.
So far what i have done for server side is create a new forge folder, then i added both the install file and another file called minecraftforge-universal.1.6.2-22.214.171.1247.jar.
double clicked the install file and it did the whole adding of libraries and what have you.
im wondering if i have to do anything with the "universal" file? or is that all i have to do? is forge installed?
as for the client do i even need to modify anything in this or can i just do the mods on the server?
