The house has grown a bit since I last wrote here. Really only been playing 2 weeks, but its been a few hours every day, Lockdown. I started my first try ok but accidentally dropped sand in my only water block. Played a while longer but when I realised I wasn't getting another I started game again.... 4 more times. I just couldn't live long enough. I love the level of difficulty, Just right, you have to try hard but things are still achievable.
Of course once I got as far as a Nether portal and got lava...there's the ice i needed in my first game. I found that the zombie pigmen drop End portal frame blocks but once assembled I can't open the End, I've since found out the the End in creative can be opened by placing blocks face inward. I'll try that next. Don't need any spoilers but if the End isn't available it would be a nice addition. Also maybe a real end world, like the beacon in the End world but only shows once you hit a high level of achievements, or maybe once all are achieved then the real world appears on the underside of this world, some kind of gravity switch over. Just ideas, don't know anything about how hard these things are to make.
Getting a stack of emerald blocks is gonna take a while. And snow blocks are so hard. I know about the Snow Golom guy in a glass box to make more snow, but 2 weeks killing Endermen and I only have 7 snowballs.
Also it was only yesterday that I got wheat, I never thought of bonemeal on grass for the seeds, I just thought a mob would drop them. I did feel a bit stupid as I've been playing Minecraft for 9 years.....
