I found the original Moderncraft thread a few months ago and I was so sad to see it being discontinued and I've been looking for continuation since then.
And now I finally found you, I am so happy right now I can hardly express my happiness
Moderncraft is such a great modern pack with its unique style and it definitely deserve much more attention.

I think the download link is not yet updated as I found out the texture pack is still in 1.5 format after I downloaded it, could you please update the download link so that people can enjoy the resource pack?
I started this project about half year ago, and held for three months, recently I finally finished it:
Vault City, in Minecraft.
The build was based on the various screenshots of Fallout 2 in the Vault Wiki and Fallout 2 Restoration Project 2.1.2b in someone's playthrough videos, thus making the VC not very original to any of two.
The VC is built in a server, therefore I couldn't release the map nor the schematic of it, but I am looking for a away to get a schematic so everyone can download it. And you can always join the server to see it too! Just look in the video description, click the server application link, fill in the form, and you're good to go! (Well, you probably need to wait for a bit for the admins to approve it though)

I hope you enjoyed my build, please feel free to give me suggestions and tell me what have I done wrong in parts as I haven't actually played Fallout 2 before. However I'll make final changes after I received the schematic of the VC and do them in 1.6.
I made a kinda short brief playthrough of your map, I think it's pretty decent as your first map for testing/familiarize yourself with map making/etc.
Sure the map could be improved, but I am looking forward to seeing the next maps of yours

I've been using this texture pack since the 1.5 update and this is amazing.
It's actually one of the few texture packs which I uses for more than a week.
After updating to 1.6, I've found some minor bugs and tried to fix them myself, I'll post them here so that other people could enjoy those little detail sweetness!
The first one is the animated diamond sword texture, it first appeared as a 2*2 black-and-purple checkerboard.
Copying any .mcmeta file and renaming it "diamond_sword.png.mcmeta" fixed it.
The second one is the language pack, the option of the Mineout - English language in the language menu was missing, and I edited the pack.mcmeta like so:

Biography:
"Winder"'s ancestors were orginally residents of the city of Hong Kong, moved to America in 2046, before the whole city's control was given to the Chinese Communist. His family moved to a huge underground sewer system when the bombs fall.
Winder, who was born in a part of it, as the sewer system is too big the exact birth location or city in unknown.
Winder does not really know what his name is, as his father told him "name is not important in here, our lives are."
Although Winder's family lives underground, he often have the chance to see the sunlight, from under the ditch covers, and when they goes to the surface to trade with caravans.
It's hard to find relatively clean food in the sewers, therefore the family need to travel in the system, search for useful items or junk that can sell at a good price and exchange them for food.
It had been safe for sixteen years, but everything changed when the raiders ran into them.
As the family lives in the sewers, they have nothing to give to the raiders besides their junk, but if the family hand over the junk to them they would have nothing to exchange or food. Having the thought of dying in either way, Winder's parents chose to fight for their lives, and died as they didn't have any weapon or armor to fight.
And Winder was just hiding in the corner, hoping the raiders would not see him.
After the raiders left, Winder decided to go to the surface, as he know that the only way to survive is to find more useful stuff, and they're all above ground.
He was only a lone scavenger at the beginning, as he had no friends nor useful firearm, he often need to hide away from threats. He was too coword to run into those people in iron suits, he knows that if they see him, he dies.
Until one year later, the day he found a terminal with the knowledge that make him greater.
He was scavenging for useful stuff in a tall building, when he saw an intact terminal in an office room. He checked it out of curiorsity.
Inside the terminal there's a entry that contain enough text for a book, named "Wind - the art of Thieves".
He read the whole entry, it lasted for a few hours, at the end of the reading his eyes were so dry he could hardly see a thing, so he just slept in the room.
And in his sleep, he feel that someone is telling him to wake up and move. He woke up and see nothing, only the feeling of the wind blowing towards him. He feels extremely refreshed, almost like a reborn, therefore he give a name to himself - "Winder".
And now, Winder is a thief who sneaks into everybody's building and get out with a load of stuff without getting noticed.

My grand use to tell me that my grand-grand-grand parents come here to travel.
Luckily they survived the Great War.
That night when the bad guys kill them all, I'll never forget.
My parents fought back, and were killed.
Also as all of the village, except me.
I survived, because I have no sense of existence.
That night, the leader of the bad guys was dead, with a knife in his head.
Since then, I hide, I ran, away from the crowd.
Hide or die, that was what I thought.
Until that day, the dead man gave me his sniper rifle and his words.
"Sneak to fight, die to hide."
Then I became a sneaker, to fight against the bad guys, who raids, who kills.
Now, I am in Mojave, the place where people find their fortune, and damnation.
