Whatever it is, it seems to be preventing me from getting on my favorite server. It may just mean the server hasn't updated. Do any of the other servers work?
Back on topic, texture packs could give you the feel of natives and muskets pretty easily. I'm sure someone will(if they haven't already) make mods for most of the other stuff. You could probably play like that now if you really wanted to.

I find this quite hilarious. Especially considering the guy who's complaining about people ignoring forum rules also stuck his complaint thread in the wrong section.
I don't really have an opinion on this since I'm not on these forums much, but I'm all for more mods. I did see one thread made by a guy with a creeper avie that was pretty bad.
Could someone check the code to see if the part dealing with skins has been altered? Especially if it has been altered to only change on a specific server.
On a related note, has anyone tried to get onto a server using deadmau5's skin or one of the same size?
A part of me wants to build a small village and then get a bunch of people together in pigman skins. Then take a screenshot and be the second greatest troll in minecraft history. (next to Notch)
The other parts of me are lazy though, so I probably won't do it.
I've been waiting for this for a long time. Since the first one in fact. The Killer Squids will probably be unable to host, but I'm sure we can get a team together. I'll probably be on it if I'm available during the break. I will also help with anything else that needs to happen, just PM me or ask me here.
The Question is, will this happen? After being forgotten for so long I hope we have enough time to get everything organized.

Slimes can be that big, there are 3 types and that is the biggest one.
From what I can tell,the deeper you go underground, the more slimes you find. They actually seem to be attracted to light as well. This might have something to do with the fact that little slimes can't hurt you, but I dunno.
Oh right, the Superhighway. I forgot about that. I can help you get it started now that there's real serverside inventory and I'm sure others will want to help. Did you have a server?

I have noticed that Lagorath seems to be absent in single-player. Try hunting down the zombies there.
