It's a Japanese animated fill made in I believe 1988 that is a simple story about a family in rural Japan in (I think) the 50's, and how the children interact with forest spirits. It's a seriously adorable movie, you really should watch it. Why? Because CatBus... I believe I read once that in Japan, Totoro is as popular as Mickey Mouse is in the US.

I crash upon using only the latest versions of tinkers and mantle, with no other mods in the folder, using 1.10.2

Earlier in the thread you mentioned being able to control the sound volume, in my config, which is from the most recent download, I can only control biome and not individual sounds like the crickets that are much too loud. Changing the volume on the biome, such as plains, did not affect this.

EDIT: Found the culprit, an "unofficial" port of botania to 1.10. According to the author of that mod, Botania's original author will be returning sometime in the future to continue work on it, so for now I'll be removing it. If, when the 1.10 version becomes "official", if it still conflicts, I'll let them know as well. This mod is great

No The mod worked beautifully on my old system with minecraft 1.7.10, but on the new system with 1.10 it's (for me) broken

I just bought a new Asus B85M-G system with a gtx-960 graphics etc and Realtek® ALC887-VD2 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC sound. Don't know why it would be my system? Vanilla sounds work fine.

All the mod does is make a random sound for a few seconds, then go to complete silence for quite some time, before attempting to make another random sound for a few more seconds. The only way to get the sound to happen for longer than that is to be flying higher than treetop level, and even that is just an extended version of the original problem, and it only works when the game is initially loaded. The underwater sound is also distorted, sounding like a heartbeat, becoming the normal sound only after rising up out of the water, and again only for a few seconds.

Archipelago means it's basically all islands of varying sizes, only here and there will you get one that is "large" or clustered with a few others to make a single mass. If anything, it's the amount of ocean between them that could be causing an issue.

I started an archipelago world and used the teleport ability to find nearly all the biomes as I do hate the whole "wander around only to find 8 of the same thing and 0 of what you're actually interested in", and for the life of me I simply can't find about 15 biomes that are left, such as marsh, eucalyptus, bamboo, mystic grove, tropical rainforest, steppe, etc. Any reason why this might be? I've gone *far* from spawn in each direction, 10's of thousands of blocks, and still nothing

I've been loving this mod for ages, but I just jumped from 1.7.10 to 1.10.2 and it no longer works properly It's *trying* to load up the sound files, but only manages to start them for a few seconds at a time, randomly, so the majority of the time it's silent. It seems as if something is interfering with the files playing constantly. Any ideas? The silence makes me a sad panda

They already do... o.o

As it currently stands, rice in this mod is a hassle, and takes forever to grow, so I've switched to using rice from Food Plus instead. For some reason, since updating to the newest version, the fruit trees have become rather rare, which is frustrating. But other than that, this mod is awesome, thanks so much for all your hard work

Thanks, Zeno, it now works, although it's glitchy as I can see through the world where your stones meet vanilla stones while NoCubes is turned on. It's neat though, so no big deal to me. With the addition of the Delta-NP texturepack, this mod is truly beautiful.
