    Well I have started on mine... no planing ahead just going to make the map as it comes to me, could be a complete fail but at least I will have fun making it and you never know maybe it will turn into something awesome. Whether I post the map or not depends on how good I think the map turned out!

    At least you now know I am trying it.

    It would be very useful if we had a command like

    Yes, I know there is problems with it like the non-player specific ones like mob greifing etc.
    It would make something like this much more efficient.
    But yeah this won't work too well on a server especially a server with lots of players unless you used a plugin for it.

    1.8 straight up broke Endermen, causing them to ignore any hazards when pathfinding towards a target. 1.9 fixed that, so now Endermen actually area threat again. The downside is that fall based traps liek this no longer work, because the Endermen are able to recognize a hazardous fall



    Out of curiosity do you (or anyone) know of any endermen farms/xp grinders that work in 1.9?
    Glad I now know this before I built one in 1.9 XD
    But over all I like the endermen are smarter, they are now Much more of a threat!

    Spawners can spawn mobs 4 blocks out in all direction (X and Z axis not Y)

    so I would make the walls 5 or 6 blocks in each direction from the spawners.

    I am not sure if that is possible in vanilla minecraft... (or at least easily)
    Maybe you could try changing the item (in your hand) every time you hit something it actives a randomizer that replaces your currently held item with the same type of item just with a different amount of damage. Depending on how much you know about command blocks.
