1. Do all monsters make random noises? I pretty much know when there is a zombie or spider nearby, but there are some random noises that I don't full understanding of Whats In the Darkness Above/below Or through the walls.
Well each type of monster has a set of noises it makes... creepers only make hissing noises right before they explode. Zombies make grunts and groans and enderman currently make the same sounds as zombies... skeletons make bone rattling noises... and I cant really describe the sounds that spiders make, kind of like spider hisses i guess.
2. Was looking up all the Mineral types on wiki earlier. Thought I came across some obsidian ore, it was bedrock. This is what I THINK I read. Is it true that the bedrock ='s Bottom of the generated world?
Yes, bedrock is the bottom of the generated world and it cannot be broken.
3. Just before I ran into the bedrock Found a Small Diamond Patch of 5, Is there a certain area of the where diamonds can be found more frequently? Or just INSANELY Random?
Diamonds are pretty rare but if you mine at level 12 (look at the coordinates by pressing f3 in game) you have the highest chance of finding diamonds. But keep in mind that they are pretty rare.
4. Probably About 3 Hours into starting this world, I felt pretty confident with my leather armor and Iron Sword. Went A little exploring around my spawn point. Found A cave, A little while inside I can hear Alot of monsters. (AND THERE WERE XD) But I couldn't see that far in this one opening where they were (Torches, I know) But within View, there was something Sparkling Purple and moving around. Tried to go in to get a torch on the wall but got mobbed by 2 skele archers, a zombie, and I think there were two creepers.
That is the enderman. It is a new mob that is 3 blocks tall, and makes the sounds of a zombie currently. It is peaceful but if you look at it with the crosshair then it will stare at you util you look away, at which point it will begin to teleport to you and attack you.
5. I'm going to try to make that Nether Portal? Saw a video on Youtube about making one. Got An Above ground lava pool alittle behind my spawn point. Can I ask, why Do I want to make one? Do I need too?
There isnt much in the nether in 1.8, just lava, pigmen, and ghasts. You can go there to get netherack which will keep lit in the rain if you light it. there is also glowstone which glows in the night. There are also many mushrooms. And there is also soul sand.
6. Do Endermen Spawn all the time at night? I got one of their pearls because of Mr. Sunrise
...Oh And When They Spawn, Is it Anywhere Outside? the one I found was On top of a building that I don't think It couldn't Climb?
Enderman spawn in the dark, just like all the other mobs so they can spawn on top of your building if it is dark up there.
7.Also while trying to link area's through tunnels, I had a zombie inside my already closed in fort. Checked everything to see how it could have got in, No Openings anywhere. Is it a light/dark issue? If that is the case knowing that will be helpful from now on.
Some part of your fort isn't lit up enough.
8. I think I'm using the not so up to date version =/ Mine Craft Beta Version 1.8.1 Downloaded it from the main site where I paid.
There are 1.9 pre releases but they are not the full release of 1.9... 1.8 is the version given hen you get the game because it is the newest version of a full update. If you want one of the 1.9 pre-releases, google for them. But you are getting the right version of minecraft so dont worry.
So one of my friends wants Minecraft, but doesn't understand the purchase with "Moneybooks"... can someone put up a description or a step by step purchase tutorial for him?
