Kizunacraft is a Minecraft mod that uses Minecraft Forge for Minecraft 1.10.2 created by Toby "Wehavecookies56" Wishart. The mod is inspired by the Spring 2016 anime series "Kiznaiver" where the characters are "Bound by their wounds".
What it does
Kizunacraft allows you to split any damage taken between other players. So if you are playing with one other person something that would deal 10 hearts of damage to you would deal 5 hearts of damage to you and the other player. Players that are bound by their wounds are known as Kiznaivers.
Getting started
You'll need a Kizuna System Implant in order to become a Kiznaiver, crafting recipe shown below.
Once you have a Kizuna System Implant right click while holding it to install it, you have now become a Kiznaiver.
To connect your wounds with another player you must right click a player with an empty hand who is also a Kiznaiver. Once you have done this damage taken by either of you will be split between you.
To disconnect you must die, which will cause you to drop the implant and you will no longer be a Kiznaiver.
If you need to see who you are connected to you can use the "/kiznaivers" command, this will display a list of connected players in green and grey text. Green text means they are online and you will share damage, grey text means they are offline and you will not share damage.
Simply install the latest version of Minecraft Forge and place Kizunacraft-X.X.jar in the mods folder.
Future plans
Allow for your bonds to strengthen over time allowing for further benefits to the Kizuna System. Allow for entities that aren't players Display information on the HUD Visually show on the player that they are a Kiznaiver. Make it useful in singleplayer. Proper localization support

Try running it with the low res models resource pack. This usually happens on lower end systems that can't handle the high res textures on the models.
Oh got something to ask...HOW DO I USE DRIVE?!*been trying to find out*
Get a drive orb for any form, right click while holding it. Then make sure you have enough DP to activate the form and activate it from the drive menu in the command menu.
My game sudden start to crash after a few hour's later what do i do? I'm on minecraft 1.8.9 forge and i love kingdom heart's and i wanna keep useing this
So things aren't working on 1.8.9. I have the Render Player API for the right version (yes it is the core mod) and it says that some models (like the wishing lamp) aren't able to fit.
Sounds like you need to use the low res models resource pack found here
A sad day is upon us, I am sorry to say this but development on this mod has
Paused for an unknown length of time, this is because of various events that have happened in
Real life. This means that there will be no more updates for Kingdom Keys for the time being.
It has been an amazing 3+ years of development I'm really amazed by how I have improved in Minecraft modding.
Life really can get in the way sometimes can't it?
Fortunately this mod is open source so anyone can contribute and continue working on the mod.
On the subject of open source I have also learnt a lot about Git through Minecraft modding so that's a cool
Occurence that may be helpful outside of modding.
Luckily I can return to this mod at some point so it will not be dead forever.
Since we're stopping for the time being we'll release what we have for the 1.9 version soon.
Whoopsie. I got stop spell after I had put the spells and drives etc for loot that I could get from Atomicstryker's battle towers. But I used it, and the moment a mob touched it while it was going, crashed the server. :V
Here you go, fix that up while you're at the leveling stuff. Aero works like a charm though. Sent my friend flying with it soon after I got it. unless that was him flying out of it with swiftwolfs rending gale. :V

Yeah Stop is bugged on the server, we'll get it fixed for the next version which is going to be for 1.8.9 and 1.9.
Would someone mind sending me a link to the crafting recipes? NEI doesn't quite seem to work with the newer version of this mod.
I'm currently working on a Wiki, for the time being use JEI (Just Enough Items). Items created through synthesis won't show but all the crafting, smelting and brewing recipes will show.
Ok so if any is still using 0.7.5.2 and still wants to, I am going to change my username which for reasons makes the game crash. I have fixed this and made a new release: 0.7.5.3. You can find it in the usual spots, google drive, github and curse forge.
I had a feeling it was something of the sort on the leveling. Since sometimes when infernal mobs or named special mobs from thaumcraft come along I end up getting 1 or 2 level ups out of them gauranteed cause their HP is big. @_@
If 1.9 forge becomes a thing in the not too distant future will you stop supporting 1.8.9? D: I would like the combat in 1.8.9 to a degree if you could so I've got something that can stand up to Slashblade's level of coolness.
(mod spotlight of slashblades in here from Nico Nirva so you know what I'm talking about)
anyway, thanks for replying.
edit:
I've been thinking. Would you be able to make a quick rebalance on the leveling soon and make the defense equation work more like another layer of weaker armor? So damage taken gets reduced first by defense so it's like each defense point reduces damage by say 3% (so it takes around 30 points in it to get armor equivalent to diamond naturally) then that damage gets reduced by the players armor further? or something of the sort? since a linear reduction like it is now really is super op. :V the damage only increasing you by 1 every 4 seems pretty fair however I'd say. but with the combination of getting bonus health with levels aswell, it really is a gamebreaker at the minute, even for my overpowered tastes. >_<
There's a chance we'll make a 1.8.9 version, no promises though.
That combat looks pretty cool I think I could do something kinda similar.
Yeah we definitely need to nerf a bunch of things.
Also as a general announcement I have setup a new website for the mod which is at wehavecookies56.github.io/Kingdom-Keys-Re-Coded
I'd like to hear everyone's feedback on the site. The website ins't quite finished but the general layout is done.

I've just released a new mod called Kizunacraft! Based on the anime series Kiznaiver. You can find it here.
I created this mod in less than a day.after having a sudden idea to create a mod based of the "bound by your wounds" premise in Kiznaiver.
Don't worry I'm still keeping my focus on Kingdom Keys and the 1.9 version is very close to being released.

Before 1.9? Possible but very difficult. After 1.9? Quite easy and should be happening.

It takes a while for files to be approved on curse forge so it might not be there yet.
