DV6Ts are lulism, I have seen 2 threads purely about problems with those peoples DV6Ts. Mostly screen issues, strobe screens ftw. HP is a no no tbh.

800 bucks isnt gonna get a OMFG MEGA gaming laptop, not even close really.

Custom built desktop gaming computer, powerful enough to max most all games on market as of current.

i so far have had no problems with mine, only one is that when i play minecraft on switchable graphics i get 7-9 fps because system doesnt recognize minecrafts opengl graphics as high performance, so i have to set it to fixed when i want to play minecraft on my dedicated graphics + 1920X1080 screen is beautiful

Why the mismatched...oh, prebuilt. The obvious solution would be to play at the resolution that works. Why it happens and how to fix it msy be your drivers, or maybe the game installed incorrectly. Graphics card drivers, that is. And your RAM and HDD's write speed would be nice too.

sorry forgot that: 8gb of ddr3 and 7200 rpm hard drive any drivers i should look for specifically?

I have an hp dv6t quad edition and im super satisfied with performance. i get great frame rates at medium/high setting on fallout new vegas. I got mine with a bunch of upgrades on ebay for $880 but its well worrth the money. i would recommend looking around hp. when i was looking for laptops, i looked all over the internet and hp offered me the best bang for my buck. i recommend looking around their site or dell or even asus

Hey so i recently bought a HP Dv6t QUad Edition. Heres specs:
    Intel Core i7-2720QM (2.2 Ghz up 3.3)
    AMD Radeon 6770 with 1 GB GDDR5
    1920X1080 SCREEN
    Windows 7 home premium
    8GB of DDR3 RAM
    7200 RPM Hard Drive

So anyway im trying to play one of my favorite games: Command and Conquer 3. It by default is playing it in 800X600 resolution and when i turn it up to play fullscreen at 1920X1080 the game crashes and i get a blue screen that says its dumping physical memory to hard drive. I can turn the resolution to 1280X1000 i believe without a crash or anything. But specifically 1920X1080 that crashes it. I can play any other game in 1920X1080 but this one so far. Any suggestions on how to play fullscreen?

I'm afraid this topic may be dead, BUT we did finish the map and all 26 parts (plus the two-part finale) are uploaded. As of now, this playlist is only Hold the House, so you can get all the links there (but more custom maps may be filling it up soon).

Well, we had fun playing your map, and if this isn't dead, then good luck with future updates!

if you can get the 419s they're just great all around, nice cushions on the ears and very light, plus they barely put any pressure on your head, so you can wear them for hours (i use them instead of speakers due to a cramped desk)

i just took a look on ebay and found a pair for $30 and they look like a great pair thx for recommending

i would go for a pair of Sennheiser 203's http://www.newegg.co...eTabStoreType=0 or Koss ones that clip on your ear http://www.amazon.co...31866653&sr=8-2

both are great, but if you can save for the Sennheiser HD 419s they are INCREDIBLE for their price, best headphones in their price range in my opinion

do those have good base and treble?

Hey i have been looking around for some good but cheap headphones. Just headphones not mics. I perfer headphones that completly cover the ears. Anyway i dont want to spend more then about $50. But i looked online and found the monoprice 8323. They are $20 headphones that when matched up with more expensive models performed better. Anyway does anyone have any thoughts on those or some better ones to look at. I would like to listen to music through my iphone and laptop, if u know of any that have a noise canceling feature that would be great to. Any suggestions?

posted a message on I have some questions about this laptop.

    1. Reasonably well. Not as good as a desktop card.
    2. Terrible. It's a laptop, there's probably a vent on the side and one fan.
    3. Possibly. I'm not up-to-date on mGPUs.
    4. Depends on the load.
    5. Bloody horrible.
    6. Depends on the onboard audio; it will be as good as most computers unless they have a dedicated sound card + amp.

I wouldn't recommend a laptop for gaming or intensive tasks. A desktop, for less, will do the same job just as well (unless you get a massive discount). Dell customer support is terrible, and Dell overprice massively. Under high load, the laptop can heat up to dangerous levels.

Get a desktop for the same price, and keep it for a while. Upgrade it gradually, and it will last much longer than any laptop you buy now.

well im not getting it from dell, i looked at there prices and my jaw dropped. but yeah im getting this from a 3rd party seller and comes with a 1yr waranty, so yeh
