Hi All, I have just watched the euthanasia episode S06E61 and recreated the project on my own map, for some reason the villagers are able to walk around in the aluminium and don't "go on holiday". I read through a heap of pages on the comments and found only 1 reference to someone having the same problem...they quickly replies that it was "now working" but did not explain how. Can someone help
Had the same problem - using iron instead of aluminum fixed it. Also try deactivating/reactivating your smeltery (just breaking the controller, I think).
I've just downloaded the modpack for the season 6 lp from ftb and it doesn't have a minimap but two disabled map mods. Does anyone know what's up with that? Can I just enable one of those map mods (Zan's or JourneyMap), should I add Rei's Minimap? I've not followed the lp to the latest video, because I'm just re-starting MC after a long absence, and like this mod setup better than any other big modpack available.
Enabling Zan's worked for me. You will likely need to go into your controls and rebind the key for Zan's menu to something that isn't shared with other mods.
Anyways, Eyamaz suggested that I make the cables in my electrical addon able to supply power to other mods' machines (directly). Is this a good idea, and if so, how would I prevent it being looped back into RC power via magnetostatics or the like?
Does that mean your machines would be able to power those requiring RF, MJ, or EU? If so, wouldn't that make your simple steam engine completely game-breaking early on?
Just wanted to pop in and let you know how much fun me and the guys on our server are having with the RotaryCraft stuff. We particularly like when we overheat a machine
Many of us are new to FTB, so the extra trial and error (cause that's more fun that reading) that goes into your machines is a blast!
I suppose to me, episode 2 was just a very short time after episode 1 - so that beginning that you don't know what I'm doing is probably because of that. I get you there.
Crossfades, transitions, etc. - yeah, I guess I was just playing around with it a bit to see how different sorts of edits worked? Those 3 videos I've put up are quite literally the only 3 I've ever made. So I appreciate the feedback there. Sort of just feeling around in the dark here
I don't have much to say about your #2 - I'll look into other possibilities though. It is pretty tough to be entertaining when there is not clear objective - that much you're totally right about.
Intro - again, super new, so I was just putting together a few things I had done in the time between ep1 and ep2. I suppose it didn't come across as well as I thought :/
When it comes to music - I typically hate videos with background music, so I pretty much decided against that from the beginning. I'll possibly reevaluate that as well.
And I'll try to get my entertainment value up I thought that second one was kind of dry, but I didn't realize it was that bad.
Thanks for the pointers! I appreciate you taking the time
I don't suppose you (or anyone) would have a recommendation? Is the issue with WMM the resolution? Because a couple test videos I did, I was able to do at 720p. This one... Not entirely sure what went wrong, but I think it was the beginning where I name and create my world - then there's a switch within the game itself (I think) and WMM locked the resolution at that even though I chose higher.
Or is it just the fades and intro? Haha... Yeah, those won't be making any more appearances.
Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone would like to take a peek at my video and let me know what I could be doing better. Really new to this - as in 100% new - so I know it's probably pretty rough. And it runs for a bit over half an hour - something I don't intend to do regularly as I know how attention spans can be short...
Anyway:
Thank you for any sort of comments/feedback/criticisms you might have!

I've started a playthrough of Goliath
Really enjoying it so far (despite my early struggles, haha). MWF schedule for new vids.
