It'd be a big help if I could have your MH number (you can PM it to me if you don't want to post it publicly), that way I can pull up your account information and have a look at your server and its logs to see what exactly is causing the problem.
I'm not sure if you've filed a ticket about this either, but our team is really great and always committed to making sure your issue is properly resolved. If you have any other questions, just post here and I'll help you out as well as I can.
For modifying your server files specifically, you can do this via FTP - our Wiki has an article about connecting and uploading files. Just patch your minecraft_server.jar file and upload it (overwriting your current one). However due to the unstable nature of mods if it doesn't work we aren't able to help you with the modding process - you'll want to check your server.log file for errors and contact the developer.
I'm going to speak to some people about the difference between the two and see if we can't work out a bigger solution for the month-long build, but no promises for sure.
Speed will definitely be 100x100 as it is in the iSeries events.

100x100 plots IIRC - you should have access to Creative mode and if not then there are item spawning commands. We're only putting 10 teams on a server at a time so if it's warranted we can increase the plots, but I doubt it will be. We've seen amazing things.You can submit to enter on your own but I think you'll find it's much nicer to have 5 people helping you and delegating tasks...
