CPU: Pentium D @2.66GHz
GPU: ATI HD4650 @ 1GB of DDR2 VRAM
RAM: 3GB
Hard drive: Dual 500GB PATA drives
OS: Windows XP SP3
And suprisingly I can run Black Ops at a nice fps of 25.
And then, a custom build I've been thinking of:
CPU: AMD Phenom II 955 Quad-Core
GPU: ATI Radeon HD6830 (or 5830)
RAM: 4-8GB (more would better ofc.)
Hard drive: Either dual 1TB or dual 500GB
OS: Windows 7
Hey people just thought i'd let everyone know that I probably won't be on very much for the next few weeks, got a bunch of crap thrown at me that i have to take care of. I'll still be around though!
I'll miss you charlie c:
Also, fruit_loops is back! :biggrin.gif:
looks pretty nice so far. I have a siggestion for a block; obsidian should look like the black-tile pieces from Portal. The tiles that you cant shoot portals on.
I've just started doing digital drawing and I'm using a wacom tablet, that I got brand new from a friend. It's a little difficult to draw on, and I'm looking to use it a lot more often. I'm not sure if you have any tips I suppose, on getting used to drawing on a tablet?
Practice makes perfect I guess. I recently got a tablet but I haven't gotten used to it, either. I suggest trying out different painting programs also.
Yeah, it really depends on the type of tablet you have. I used to own a Bamboo Pen tablet which I didn't like at all, so I recently bought a Intuos4 Medium, which is just amazing(you can get it for under 300$). The main difference between the Intuos and the Bamboo is that it has Pen Type Sensor which makes each point on the tablet = a point on your actual screen. You can not believe how much more comfortable this makes drawing with it.
Also yeah, different programs will also feel different. I used to use Photoshop, but I switched to Illustrator and now to Flash. Really loving it.
Yeah I have a Bamboo Fun Medium tablet. I think it's just the position that I'm in, I'm used to hanging my head over a piece of paper instead of looking straight at a screen. Also, what version of Flash would you reccomend? I currently have Macromedia Flash 8 Pro, should I upgrade?

Well, in my opinion, Adobe Flash is the best program for animation. Since you're wanting a free program, I'd just suggest downloading the trial. but ofcourse, you could just torrent it, /please dont ban me
Oh and I just noticed (I posted a replay a couple of months back.) that I really like the idea of the Sprouts. I once had .5 hearts left and tons of seeds, but I couldnt wait long enough for the seeds to grow. So, it saves the time of farming if you have a ton of seeds! :biggrin.gif:
EDIT: Also, if Notch ever implemented potatoes, then potato soup would be a MUST!

Flash CS4, ammirite? Very nice :tongue.gif:
Do you get passed the way Flash can sometimes change your lines if you draw non-stop for like a minute?

Yes yes, I think we have all seen that one.
Xephio, did you make those bookshelves from scratch? Or did you use some kind of texture?
