It's not very convenient but it is interesting. The arrow rain would look quite cool on the receiving end. Wish we had a way to angle dispensers :laugh.gif:
I got lucky on my start. I spawned next to a town, so I decided to ignore it for a bit while I foraged for surface supplies. After I had a supply of wood, saplings and cobble for picks, I INVEDITed myself a :Flint and Steel: and set everything in the town on fire, being careful not to collect any wheat. After the town was suitably demolished I dug into the church altar and proceeded from there. I don't think I'll be heading back to the surface anytime soon but if I ever wander past my airlock again I'll encase the church and go from there.
This is an awesome challenge provided you set yourself some tougher limitations.
If you're having a hard time with mine shafts bring :Flint and Steel: . Just set fire to one of the support braces and watch all the little spiders burn :laugh.gif: If you're getting lost, my suggestion is to only place torches on one side of the tunnels that way you know if you're getting deeper or heading back to your entrance depending on which side of you they're on.
I like the fact that they can remove ALL types of blocks. Gives me more incentive to hunt them down. I just wish that since they die in water that maybe they should be immune to sunlight. As long as you build a moat around your house/castle/town/whatever you'll be safe from the thieves. Oh and I hope they fix their movement inside the abandoned mine shafts. The poor guys are so tall they cant go past the sections shored up with wood :sad.gif:
