I used to use a Polariod 22" 1080p LED monitor back when I built my first PC in 2009, and it was pretty decent tbh. I later "upgraded" to a Samsung 1080p monitor and didn't notice any changes in quality or input lag.
If the monitor you have is 1080p and LED i would just keep using it, however if it's 720p I would definitely think about getting a new 1080p monitor
I need to get a new one. My mom is going to mount this to the wall in my bedroom, and she's getting me a new one. I've been looking at a few monitors however. Which one is best for gaming in general?

excuse? LOL. Go on kohi.us and fight some people. Sooner or later you'll come across someone that starts 8 blocking you and you can't even touch them.
I have 60 down and 30 up. My internet is amazing. And I still get 8 blocked. It's only because people live closer to the server, so their connection is way better.
Well, the problem with this is that. It is impossible to do what you want, you can not make pvp less connection based. You do not understand what you are talking about, how else would they make pvp? Oh wait! I know, lets make it so their is no pvp :D, that will make it wayyy less connection based.
Thats the problem, they can't do what you want, you should just get a better internet connection, because no one can code something to make your connection better (Unless you mean optimize the code.)
Answer this then. Why is that in late beta up until about 1.5.2 or so, minecraft pvp was never this connection based. Now, all of a sudden, after 1.6/1.7, connection has become such a huge issue that people with higher ping to a server are at such a disadvantage?
Going to ruin pvp. Some will say it will make it better because there's more to it then spam clicking. This is completely false. Look at stimpay. He doesn't "spam click" he just clicks really fast.
PvP isn't about how fast you click, it's all connection based. When we said we wanted a change in pvp, we meant make it so it doesn't rely so much on connection. But no, they just went and added shields.

Anyone have any solution to it that works? I've tried proactive, liver detoxify pills, steaming my face, taking showers every day, drinking lots of water, going in a sauna, and nothing really works. Here's a screenshot of one side of my face. The other side is identical as well.
I've only been playing for a few months, but I've discovered I suck at design. Box after box, with different blocks, same suck. So this go around, I decided to just live underground. I ran around for a few days looking for a good hole and I found this, right next to a ravine so I figured good enough.

This cave was nicely hollowed out and I just went with the flow. All of those circles were generated like that, I decided I would just make a enchanting room, storage room, and bat eliminator out of them.

I've found skylights are very important in caves
On the other side of my firewall is a ravine. In fact there are about 5 intersecting ravines below and beside my hole in the ground. The bottom of the ravine out my back door is a slime chunk.
Mob spawner/xp farm. Built on a platform 128 blocks up. Standard 22 block fall, 1 hit kill variety. Takes about 5 to 7 minutes for 30xp. Portal to get back home quickly.
And my Nether portal opens right below a fortress! Wow that was easy
My Overworld fortress was only about 275m away!
A sad story about that end portal. I turned the lava in to obsidian so I could build another portal, and as I was mining under the portal, some of those little critters came out and started attacking me. I guess I jumped while under the portal and I was of course instantly sent to the End. So I'm like 'Crap!'. So I call up my inventory and start taking stock of what I have, trying to decide if I can make a go of it. So while I'm standing there looking at inventory, I guess I accidentally angered a couple Endermen way over there on the land. They ported to me, and knocked me off the platform before I even swung my sword. Lesson learned
but we dont have any shops like that were there are computer people. the thing closest to what ur talking about is best buy. we have wallmart, target, some fone stores, and thats about it
Since you actually unplugged something while the computer is on, I'd say call someone to look at it because you probably won't be able to troubleshoot.

I was downloading something and I went outside to play basketball to pass the time, but when I came back I had no internet. I have to adapters so wile my pc was running, I took one adapter out of the pci-e slot to see if it was interfeering with the other one.
When I did that, that computer shut off. When I turn it back on, nothing comes up on the monetor.
