Actually, no. If I remember correctly, it ONLY spawns below sea level to make sure that it's underground. I think I chose 50 blocks? It then vertically searches for air blocks to find caves, then searches in all directions to find the cave wall, then places the room there.
No, nothing else. The fight is designed around having exactly that much space, though. You can easily spawn it without the chamber.

Wow, that's pretty specific! You sure put a lot of thought and effort into fleshing out your mobs, and it shows! I'll see if I can hunt down one of those chambers to see how it's spawning...or if it's spawning...I'd obviously prefer it work as intended. :)

Hey, I'm getting a bug on the version 1.2.99, and sadly there's no other versions available on curse!

    cpw.mods.fml.common.LoaderException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/bobmowzie/mowziesmobs/client/model/entity/FoliaathBabyModel

It's the only mod installed, on forge 10.13.4.1614-1.7.1

Are there even baby Foliaaths? Seems kind of counter productive! :)

EDIT: *facepalm* Nevermind, I had pulled llibrary out while testing mods, and forgot your mod required it!

http://techne.zeux.me/ not sure if it's been ported to use .json for 1.8 though. I haven't looked at 1.8 models though so they might not be required.

Alright, I've built it, and did a halfassed texture setup just so you can see what parts are what. Basically outlined all boxes in the textures. At any rate...NOW what do I have to do to upload it? :)

I'd like to point out something that is sorely missing from this mod. A few 3d models. An actual ship's wheel instead of a block with a wheel texture on one side for example, or even better engines with moving propellers! I mentioned this back on the original thread, might have posted it in the mod request section, and now I bring it to you...

As proof of concept, download this mod:

    http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/226336-multi-windmills-mod

    Place windmill on ship.

    Compile ship.

Fly ship with spiny windmills. WOOO SPINY!

So now you know it's possible...and that's about the extent of my abilities. Hah! No seriously, I've tried looking at model creator programs, and they talk about .json files...but heck, I can't even find a .json file in that windmill mod for example, so I don't know where I'd find something to retroengineer to make a model let alone an addon mod for archimede's. I had hoped to steal the engine nacelle from the old Steampunk Airship mod as an example and make it bigger, but couldn't even manage to do that. I can build one out of Legos, but I doubt that would be very helpful ;)

Thanks for your time and effort at maintaining a great mod!

    I have Dr. Zhark permission.

I think it would benefit everyone if you were able to post a link to a thread or even post an email from each author that gives you explicit permission; otherwise, we have no way of verifying your claims, especially in a case such as Dr. Zhark where he explicitly says that no one has permission.

Btw, I don't mean post a link here, I mean post it on your repost of the mod, somewhere where people can clearly see that you have permission. In the case of mods with permissive licenses, reprinting the license would suffice; in other cases, some other proof of permission would be expected.

Yes, that would definitely go a long way. As stated, Mo' Creatures wasn't the only one I spotted on your site that doesn't allow redistribution, or at the very least requires information or redirection to the author's links for download. If you have been given an exception to the rule, that information should be readily visible on your website.

The way the laws are written, it becomes the burden of the copyright holder to enforce the copyright of a work, and not anyone else unless granted that authority by the copyright holder. If someone is using a work in a way that violates the license, it is the copyright holder's job (or anyone the copyright holder explicitly authorizes) to ask that user to stop. The user is not obligated to display that he/she has permission to use the work to anyone. No one other than the copyright holder has the right to ask the user to stop using the work even if the use of that work is clearly in violation of the license.

EDIT: of course, I am not a lawyer. Consult your legal professional before making any legal decisions.

No one is really arguing about the legalities of it at this point, and hopefully it doesn't come to that. It's more likely that a mod author would just stop development than to spend the time and money to sue over something he's not making any real money on. We just lost Bukkit recently for "legal" reasons, and some have quit the community in protest of sale to Microsoft. There's no reason to give people MORE reason to leave by distributing their work when they don't want you to.

Sorry I'm late to jumping on this band wagon! It was always a pet peeve of mine that I'd see all these sites in searches linking to mods I knew weren't up to date and probably didn't have permission for distribution. Obviously I never downloaded from them, assuming either it wouldn't work, or worse yet it was going to give my computer internet herpes. (That's a virus for those who don't get sarcasm) I wasn't aware it was such a big problem though, just something I avoided. I have noticed that it has become increasingly common, and even at the most innocent these sites are making money off the work of others through advertising.

Out of curiosity I spent some time looking at Skydaz, as it seems to be the latest item up for discussion. I had never really looked into Skydaz before, although I had seen it mentioned sometimes. Installing Forge and mods is about as easy as can be if you can follow all of two steps so I never needed a third party installer. In about an hours time on the Skydaz site, by page ten of the two hundred and fifty odd pages I've found a few mods that it claims are 1.7.10 that are not, according to the author's official site or minecraftforum.net thread, and I've also found many that are being redistributed when the author expressly states that's not allowed. They provided no proof that they have been given any type of exception to the policies of those mod authors either.

Lastly, Xchow is either trolling or doesn't understand the simple concept of ownership. You're wasting your time trying to reason with him/her, so why bother? Better to ignore than get your thread locked due to a flame war.

Ironic that Skydaz seems to have a strict policy against redistribution in their terms of use, but doesn't bother to follow those set down by the creators of the content they are redistributing.

posted a message on MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod v4.1 - The Outdoor Update! (Updated: 9/1/2017)
The wiki states I can store other items than food in the fridge. This is not the case. I would like to be able to store all items in there if I want....especially the heads of my enemies ;) No seriously, DNA from other mods and stuff would be nice, so is there a line I can add to the config for this? Looking at the config it's basically empty right now. Also, I can foresee the stove not cooking food from other mods, how would I add those too if that's the case?

posted a message on Search Function Broken?
The search function seems to be broken. Specifically, I can't search a thread that I'm in. If I go into a thread and run a search with the search button (not the field at the top next to the three social media buttons, it's a bit below that) it takes me to a different page, like running an advanced search. The issue is it never returns any results, no matter what I'm searching for. Anyone else having this issue?
